imo the progamers don't give a shit about foreign fan base or fans at all really, i think they are annoyed as fuck by them lol (even tho they do say blah blah thanks for support fans i appreciate it blah blah in interviews)

like at blizzcon many tl'ers standing behind the koreans as they played eachother warming up...the stuff xellos and nada were saying to eachother basically was saying how it really sucks being here and they wanna gtfo of america asap lol

I think a lot of people seem to forget the fact that progamers are real people. Most of them are still pretty young and despite what the vast majority of people here may like to dream about, they're pretty normal people too. It's really not that far fetched or even really that big of a deal for someone to have someone like that's phone number or MSN. In fact I'm surprised that someone having those things is even really that big of a deal to begin with (actually that's a lie, after being here for so many years it's really not that surprising anymore, but you get the point).

I mean, yeah these guys are really famous within the StarCraft community and parts of Korea, but most of them are still pretty normal people. So the girl probably really does have his number, but I don't think that it's a good idea for someone that he doesn't even know to text him. That probably gets a bit annoying, even if it is from fans.

and maybe I'm naive but I think they do care about the fans, it's not like they're bitching every fan they have as soon as they are in the practice house alone. Think about having thousands of fans when you were 16-17 years old and then you receive a text message from someone living at the other side of the world, that can be cool, even to them.
