so i just came back from my girlfriend, she lives outside of the city, half an hour trainride, on the way back to the trainstation i smoked like 5 cigarettes,(i only occasionally smoke when partying or doin smthin with friends weekends, ok point is i do it very rarely) listening to gnarles barkley on my mp3 player
anyway i felt so smart, so good, i thought about stuff, for example i didnt ever believe in god, but then i thought about how perfect the world is, and how everything fits together, and how everything living builds a huge cycle of life, and that theres just no chance everything just happened that way, and there must at least be some higher intelligent being somewhere to make all this fit together. and i thought about my favorite author terry pratchett and how perfectly written his books are, and just how cool his style is, and that i really wanna right a book sometime. story doesnt matter, i just wana make an impretion on people through my style of writing and at the trainstation
there was this blindguy and i had this huge urge to do everything he wants, and to make him happier, and give him everything i have, so i asked if he wanted me to help him with getting his luggage in the train, and we sat together, and talked about stuff and where hes from, and while i saw him getting around the trainstation without seeing, blind people are really amazing, and i asked him probably really blunt questions, about how it is beeing blind, but he was a cool guy about it, gave me cool answers, found out he lives like 2 blocks away from me, he asked me if i wana visit him sometime.(he plays the violin, i do too, although its typically uncool for 17year olds to play violin, i really love playing it). than i thought about my girlfriend(shes my 3., im her 1.)and how much i love her, and we always talk about stuff how were gonna move together, get so and so many kids, adopt a black one because we love black kids
but that all thats pretty senseless, because what are the chances that shes gonna end up with her 1. boyfriend for the rest of her life, and what the chances are that any of us will never find someone that fits better to us. pretty slim. both of the times where my relationships stopped, i told myself, its not worth it at your age to bond yourself to one single person that much, because your to young, there are so many people that suit you better, you will only get hurt, what you should do is get drunk and have fun with different people. but that thought always gets washed away once i find someone i like again.

I don't know how a 'higher intelligence' is your explanation... you're invoking something as an explanation and exempting that thing from needing an explanation itself. It doesn't work.

im sorry for the dick, maybe the blogtitle was sort of picked wrong, i just noticed, how im really down to earth, only thinking about whats tomorrow and this evening it just was different, call it how you want, pointing out that this evening was DIFFERENT to me is admitting that im actually NOT intellectual or really smart or anything lol, would smart intellectual people write something like this?

Remember the feeling of things making sense. Save it somewhere. Then, when things start to get out of hand, remember and push on. Btw, everyone has his own story and is cool or at least interesting in his own right, but you can't be friends with everyone. Learn to be friends with the right people (who will be with you for a long time).

By virtue of the fact that a smart person is not an idiot, your answer is "no, they would not ever write something like this."
A smart person doesn't see the world around him and go "Aww fuck, this is too complicated... What's a really simple catch all explanation that will save me from ever having to think critically about it again... "God!" Of course!

There's something about the universe you should know. Time is infinite. Time will go on for as long as anything, and then longer still. If there is a possibility something can happen, no matter how improbable, in the context of infinity it WILL happen.
There are trillions and trillions and numbers bigger than I know the names for of planets, and stars that they orbit. Why does it seem so unlikely to you can any one of them would be able to support life in the way Earth does? I mean, for fucks sake, it's highly doubtful there isn't MORE planets just like the Earth. This is 9th grade science class buddy. That's why people don't think you're smart.

i didnt mean the why is there life on earth question. but for example why are their meat eaters on earth? why arent there just plant eaters. i mean of course it doesnt work out in the end the planteaters would overpopulate since there arent any meateaters to balance it out. it looks like somebody *thought it all trough*. meb were an experiment
and well i was just writing i thought about it not more, but i know for a fact that theres still lots of discussion and theorycrafting about this kind of stuff, thats probably beyond my or your knowledge about the stuff so its no use telling me stuff like that. what if someone were to tell you arent the chances higher that we`re just an experiment, that all this universe was like in some jar, than that theres just something like earth by chance?
or if someone tells you: lolz u dumb or smthin why not believe the thing your happiest with, cause thats the point in life being happy right?

People usually call me pretty intelligent, actually. Maybe not people I'm in the middle of a disagreement with, but on the whole people seem to respect my reasoning and actions.
You asked a question, I answered it. I don't know what you want from me. I'm a pretty nice guy, wurzel, but I'm also very blunt.
If it makes you feel better, I have a lot of respect that you play the violin  It's a fantastic instrument, and pretty hard to learn.

Asking those questions is fine
But why "give up" and say that it is all impossible to understand?
Read books, study, talk to people, you will find out that most things that initially seem very complex really are quite straight forward. And should it so happen that youre curiosity cannot be stilled then find out the answer for yourself!! We don't know everything (yet) but there is an explanation, if you just dare look for it instead of beeing scared by the initial complexity.
