ZvT don't be creative. Find a build you like and use it. 3 hat muta>muta/ling ->muta/lurker/ling -> defiler is the most effective build. One build won't auto win, but until you fully understand 1, using random strats and sometimes pulling a win won't help you learn as fast as understanding the timmings of mutalisk vs +1 weapons sunken bust builds, or defilers timming vs tank/sci push. Keep plugging along my man. your blogs are hopefull and entertaining. (I never ever 4pool,5pool, or 9pool , unless you need a win learning how to do those doesn't keep you unpredictable, its a ladder nobody knows you anyway  Good luck ! | ||

when i was at D levels i couldnt beat terran, so i resorted to 9 pool speeding all of them. i'd get wins here and there, but i never learned anything from it. not until i decided to suck it up and 12 hatch and take the losses. same thing when bunker rush became popular, i must've lost my first 10 games or something vs bunker rush, but gotta stick with 12 hatch and learn to defend it. anyway yea, nothing wrong with mixing up your play now and then, but for improvement youll want to learn towards the standard builds most of the time to improve your mechanics. | ||
