I had to read this again to realize you weren't making ignorant statements yourself haha. First of all, his choice of 4000 is funny since the Jewish Calendar is up to more like 5768 or so (I can't remember to within one year). Second of all, it's true that not all Christians honestly believe the universe was created at that point. However, I do think it's safe to say that most die-hard hardcore believers do think that, and most of the other followers are less serious. If I'm wrong, please explain how it really is. | ||

Back to the Young-Earth theory, if you believe in an all-powerful God, then it would perfectly possible to create the earth in any state. To create an Earth with its history is another question. | ||

Actually I am under the impression that the type of christian that he describes or his view of a proper christian is the right one. Shouldn't someone who believes in something act like he believes and not just say it? What good are words without action? How can someone be a good proper christian and he is watching porn and doing this and that and everything which is known that Jesus disliked and preached again and remember that jesus said 'I did not come to change the law but to uphold it' meaning the law of Moses and the prophets before him. I think everything the guy said is right in his understanding [i.e his understanding of Christianity. | ||
