No, people have free will. They choose to be homosexuals. Only through their choices can they stray from the path of the lord.

It's genetics, not free will, although some people do choose to become gay for many different reasons within their environment. There is homosexuality in animals as well.

I know a guy who rebelled against his liberal, athiest parents and trained as a priest. It didn't particularly bother them and after 18 months he dropped out.

Alot of valuble info in this thread from both sides.
I used to be a hardcore chirstian. Now I really dont know, I guess I somehow believe. But I have a hard time seeing God in everything, and how God actually helps us in our life. I mean in the end its all about how we interpret things. We can just imagine so much that we believe is from God wich actually isnt. And sometimes it ends up with men blindly going upto women they are blindly in love with, saying "God told me that you were THE ONE, now marry me!" and she is like "Wtf? who are you?". That was just an example. But there are LOADS of those moments. Our thoughts are just to much in the way. Also Gods ways are so confusing and unclear. Why?
btw. Paul Walker is so strict. Either you love him and take his message seriously. Or you just laugh at him and ditch him for beeing some kind of a strict old school christian.

i was tempted to write up a compelling argument, but then i realized the mind-set i am dealing with. I was a Christian for 17years and i can only advise those trying to debate this guy to just give up, hes a Christian in this day and age for a reason, hes stubborn and he wont fully consider anything that doesn't agree with his belief.
