EPTPretty arbitrary to say "this religion says this, so everything else must be wrong."
But using the Christian religion for a baseline makes even less sense to me. The Bible praises many different people who do some things that many Christians would abhor, such as infanticide and polygamy and slavery and rape. Sure, the situation was different, right? So if the correct situation comes up again, God would approve of me performing those actions?
Personally, I think religion was a nice way to answer unanswerable questions. But it becomes dangerous when religion starts answering answerable questions with nonexistent logic and demonizing people who would otherwise not be considered harmful or dangerous or evil at all.
