He basically said the same thing over and over again: -I love you (shrills in his voice, crying) -most of you will go to Hell -only my Church is right -even if you think you have faith, I know better, and you don't. -stop living in sin -but oh, that's impossible -only way not to burn in Hell for all Eternity is for your life to change completely (I liked the truck analogy) -"the muslims killed him!!" -I am your moral superior, I have been everywhere -People won't invite me back because they don't like what I have to say (I am way better than them) -Even your priest will burn in Hell
Yes, I am biased. But he is bigoted. If he is right, then all of Christianity up until now has been wrong. He depicts a hateful god... and insists on it! So God loves his creation, but he hates his children. That argument was not convincing at all. That was probably blasphemy too.

He talks a lot about the Bible, but his quotations are sporadic, and in fact his whole speech seems detached from the spirit of the Gospel. It sounded like a paranoid man talking about what the Bible might say. He does not preach love but fear. I am done wasting my time on him. Goodnight.

Otherwise it is easy to miss the spirit of it and get caught up in details. There are also several schools of thought, but I am too ignorant to try to explain that stuff and also this thread isn't the best place.
Look up people on Youtube like cdk007, Thunderf00t, and potholer54. If you can watch videos like those and still have a firm belief in deities and such, then you are just determined to be ignorant of the world around you, and you are choosing not to see the truth.

As a child, you have your parents for assistance and to watch over you, when you grow up your'e on your own - so you imagine yourself a higher being which watches over all people who behave according to its rules (though most of them are written down as law anyway, the rest is common sense. So no real need for them). Ah right, he would end up being thrown into the next asylum of course, and rightfully so...), extremely intolerant writings, bugs and ambiguity that it's completely worthless. Religiously knowledgeable people always interpret them in ways they see fit, i.e. they implicitly change the meaning, if only slightly, because as it is written it is mostly crap which is not at all applicable anymore to current times. If you live 100% by it, you're insane, if you don't live 100% by it your God should be angry about you anyway. So you're either insane or retarded, sounds like a cool choice.
By the way there are some funny graphs relating the average IQ level of the population to how many people are religious. The result is: the higher the IQ level, the lower the number of religious people. I really think that pretty much says it all.

God loves His children, yeah. But then how can you display and express your love to someone who doesnt respect you, follow you, or even AKNOWLEDGE your existence. He does have this love. Us, through our sins (past+present+future) that we have become so hard to love, not in any part of His "hate".
btw, we have this option to choose to ignore Him because it is the better alternative. some people put up that argument, why cant God just give us everything so we'd love him naturally. there is no choice there, its not meaningful love, it's forced. robots cant love if they've been programmed these emotions.
also, "we must live like Jesus" is not step 1. step 1 is accepting Him and our salvation. the whole point of Christianity is the fact that we are NOT saved by deeds in ANY way. after we get step 1, we take the natural step 2 of living a new life not by our own efforts, but with His help and inspiration. then your life will turn around, AFTER receiving Christ. as he said it, it is impossible to just "stop living in sin", because by our own efforts thats just how it is.
For all those hardcore beleivers, be it christianity or atheism, i really recommend you go out and watch the movie Religulous, it isnt an anti religious documentary or anything it just asks questions that need to be asked. It will make u think.

Just for the record im not for or against any religion, i went to a catholic high school, and my father is just now becoming involved in 'preaching the word'. But id say this has only made me more sceptical about religion. Anyway i really recommend you at least watch the interview portion of the episode, its under about 15min long.
