Which is kind of cool, BUT FOR TWO MONTHS?

It's pretty awesome by my friends but god damnit, this is seriously freaky, and I can't just say fuck no cause this was extremely expensive and I'd probably lose friendship if I just skipped this.

So i'll disapear for a bit over two months in december. But these buddhist dudes will hold my plane ticket home so I cant really just run away. But i'm considering just running off at the airport in bangkok and using my own money and just chill out for 2 months and buy my own ticket.

So if anyone is in bangkok december-february, and you dare, join up with me, i'm the most fun guy to hang out with. I'm not a douchebag as the picture I paint of myself, in the eyes of others i'm actually extremely kind and fun.

I'm a total ass for even considering having a vacation instead, but hey, 2 months is a very very long time.

If you are concerned about losing friends over not going, they will still find out that you didn't show up. I don't see how you can get out of it without talking to your friends.

I wouldnt recommend trying to run around in Thailand for two months with ur own cash. But it is only you who can tell if you really need this, though you probably would deny it, it is your decision. Make it.

They dont mind me doing all this as they know I got control to some extent, they just said i was wasting my time, which is probably true but sometimes in life that might be exactly what you want to do.

all these friends of mine are my oldest and they are all highly educated and they feel i've been going in the opposite direction as them so thats probably why they did this.

"wasting talent" is one phrase i heard alot, but god damn, it's like being a world of warcraft addict or something except you get alot more fun out of it. Do you send those wow nerds to these places?

Suddenly cause sex drugs and booze is involved they gotta take it so seriously.

they seriously overreacted, which is why i find humour in all of this, they want this to be a life changing experience or something like that.

It was very disrespectful of them to do this without even telling you beforehand. They are giving you no choice. If I was you I would be very mad at them. They are basically trying to send you two months with some unknown monks in one of the shittiest world countries.

Seriously though.. if my friends sent me to another country for 2 months as an intervention I'd be fucking worried and maybe I'd examine my current lifestyle. From the sounds of it you won't change, and it's your life, but really.. does this register no importance to you?

You can fuck up your life with drugs all you want but the fact that you're perfectly fine with the fact that you seek out unsafe sex is a bit scary. You will end up paying child support before you know it and then your life will really suck.

You can disagree about the severity of using a lot of weed, drinking a lot, and having a lot of unsafe sex. But put them all together, and you probably should change yourself one way or another.

meh. i would just keep arguing to not go, hopefully they can refund their money or something. if they reall really couldnt refund their money in the end then i guess i would go. thats if these are actually good friends. if they are some half-ass friends who just want to have fun tormenting people then i would just flat-out say "fuck you guys".

I meant to the surprise comment, no one told ahead of time would actually go to the intervention. It has to be dumped on you all at once so you cant go do your whatever.

Oh and just for sake since I've joinned in. I dont think drinking 4 days a week nightly and smoking weed everyday is anything worth of an intervention. Smarten up and practice safe sex though, thats just stupid.
