Masamune Canada3401 Posts September 28 2008 09:36 GMT #44 Dude, you're like 21...you have like another 60 years of life ahead of you to party and you'll probably never get another opportunity to go to Thailand and actually do this. Maybe this will help you put a new perspective on life and actually change things around. You can party whenever you want, but a chance like this will most likely never cross your path again, especially one with all expenses paid. Your friends probably went ahead with this without asking you because they must have known you'd say no if they asked beforehand, and if 15 individual minds thought this is what would be best for you, it probably is. I've read a few of your past blogs, and I for one think it will definitely change you for the better, or at least put you on a better path in life. If after 2 months of being with these buddhists, you still feel like nothing has changed, book another vacation to Thailand just for partying or whatever you want, but at least try this. Besides, even if you do go and party instead of doing this monk thing, your friends will find out you'll return in even more of a worse state than now.
