people things were going uphill so good and this terrible news hit me today after a pleasant day. My dad just got fired from his job  !!!!!!!!!
It seems his boss was somewhat having problems with him and despite him having been working for the same company for 24 years now. Right now im in college and thank god its a public one so its "cheap" to say so. He told me that he might solve the problem tomorrow but that's no assurance at all.
If he loses his job things are going to get pretty bloody here because the divorce process with my mom isnt over yet and it has wasted quite a bit of money.
I work at least and might help myself for a while (200$ a month isnt enough to do anything for the house, but at least my dad wont need to spend on me). Man i hope i can help my dad asap. Im just worried deeply atm. It might sound selfish but when im used to a somewhat nice lifestyle and switch from night to morning with a different lifestyle is going to get me off my feet.
Am i over-reacting? just when i was about to step in stable ground now it shakes again ....

well, i don't think the shit has hit the fan yet, but it's flying in mid-air!!
there's really nothing you can do about it so don't stress~
hopefully your father gets his job back :s!!

Stay cool man, a solution will present itself, even if it means hard times or not. Concentrate on your studies.

It depends a lot on your dad's situation and where you are. We can't advise you seriously without more information, and you probably shouldn't give it tbh.

RtS)Night[Mare do you actually live in Mexico ? I heard you guys have lots of problems over there in general.
Anyway, it's normal to get worried but anxious ?? that's a bit too much. Your father will eventually find a job, maybe not tomorrow but I'm sure he'll find something within a month or so. As you get older you will have to face many problems more difficult than this one. Worrying too much will eventually lead to some sort of depression. Do your stuff at school, look for part times jobs if any and try to be cool for your dad, don't add more to the mess. I'm sure he worries enough for both of you.

my dad worked like 20 years in the same job, then one day he quit... my mom was like "WTF WHY DID U DO THAT!!!!!!" He was really calm about it and was out of job for about 8 months. Rough times.

im cooled off atm. I think this is not the hardest of the problems we've faced, so i think we'll come through. I just panicked yesterday and had to let go something, but since my dad asked me not to tell to anyone yet, i felt that the animosity(i think thats the word; looking for anonymous) of the internet was enough to help myself a bit.
