I've been getting bored with my guitars lately, so I'm looking to buy another one. The problem is though, I want one that looks awesome. One that really stands out. Here's some designs that I do like, but I'm just wondering what else is there? I don't know much about Guitar companies. So I need any of you avid guitarists out there to direct me or suggest some cool styles.
B.C Rich Beast
B.C Rich Warlock
B.C Rich Ironbird
B.C Rich Warbeast
I'm putting aside a budget of $1000 or under for the guitar its self. I'll get better pickups and strings later on down the road.
Oh yeah, no V-Styles please. I hate playing those when I sit down.

if you're just interested in a cool design, I don't think you'll find more exciting guitars than bc rich. and they don't sound bad at all. then again it depends on what you're looking for.
btw, the bc rich design I fancy most is the mockingbird one. I think that's how it's called at least. go take a look at them at a store before deciding cause they feel really different when you see them irl than what you're seeing online

what kind of guitar are you looking for? solid body?

cheap bc rich guitars sound like crap but expensive ones are awesome!

all those guitars look too scary. how will the girls know how sensitive you are??
ps hi johncoltrane!!

Go to a guitar store, and play all the guitars yourself.
Buy the one that sounds and feels best to you. B.C Rich guitars aren't very high quality, so in my opinion you'd be wasting your money.
I suggest something by Ibanez.

I don't know anything about guitars, but if it means anything I think the B.C Rich Ironbird looks fucking sweet.

Get urself a dime tribute man...

Couldn't you buy a guitar that doesn't require sharpening?
but seriously, definitely try before you buy. Even if hundreds of people say its awesome, it can still feel weird to play.
Oh and the second one looks the best

If it must be one of those, i'd go for the warlock.

yeah b.c. rich is shit. a friend of mine has the kerry king sig series which is ok, but can be pretty pricey.
stands out, but when you buy one of those "look at me guitars" all you're really spending money on is the "look at me factor". in this case, LTD is just a cheaper version of a much nicer ESP.
i personally think this looks better too, but meh. yeah. stay away from b.c. rich unless you have a lot to spend.

hi!!!! sorry im slow
i can vouche for ibanez, i have an ibanez 7string (RG7321 model) solid body electric and it performs rather well, and i got it for cheap (~800). if you are looking for skinny necked steel string acoustics, takamine, epiphone, martin, maton are all good but can be quite expensive. if you want to play a mans guitar aka nylon string spanish guitar, yamaha make good quality models at really cheap prices (i bought a yamaha c40 for 130bucks a while ago). Also, you can try the more expensive spanish import models which are really great, but may not be worthwhile unless you love guitar and want to shell out a heap of cash. the yamaha sounds pretty much identical to the more expensive models, the main differences being the spanish models stay in tune longer, have lighter bodies (REALLY LIGHT...my yamaha feels like a bag of air, some of the more expensive spanish imports feel like literally nothing at all in my hands...like you could forget you are even holding anything)
trying looking at some reviews on ultimate guitar, they have a fair amount for solid, semi and full hollow bodied guitars. gl
