Something I've noticed these days, is wrinkly ugly feminists, barking out the word "pedophile" at every possible chance.
I was at the pool with my uncle, and he was teaching his daughter to swim. She's 6 years old, and its about time she learned, but when he lifted her in the water, some old bitch yelled at him for having his hand on her leg.
It's his daughter. Should parents and children keep an arms length distance from eachother at all time? Should fathers be afraid to hug their own children, or have an intimate, happy, and normal relationship with their own offspring? No, of course not. Gone are the days of old where you can sit on Grandpa's lap and hear stories from the "good ole' days". Because anyone who touches a child is a pedophile.
Even I experienced it. I was at the park, and some girl fell in the sand which I was near, and her parents weren't paying attention. The girl couldn't get up, so I helped her. I help her up, and the mom tells me "Don't touch my daughter!"
I'm there at the park with my girlfriend, we must be 16 year old pedoswingers looking to pick up a hot threesome right?
Jesus.
Don't get me started on the statutory rape laws. Girls in my highschool have had their boyfriends sued by their ignorant mothers, because they were 18-19, and the girl was 15-16. You think the 18-19 year old guy, of roughly the same maturity level is some sick freak?
Highschool girls like older men anyway. Of course, like any natural urge, it must be surpressed and ignored and blamed on Satan. Or pedophilia. Besides, attraction to teenage girls is ephebophilia and every man has it.
Has anyone else noticed this, or seen things like this?
Here are some links to some ridiculous soccer mom McCarthyism: http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2008/7/6/women_fight_pedophilia_with_teddy_bears.html

Agreed, not only do I hate the "pedo" being thrown around, but I also hate the actual labeling of people this way when they have the most innocent intentions. I blame North America and their cultural taboos >.<
I also hate when people throw around "gay".
|
i hate that too, but what can you do ? just don't go and throw that work around too often ignore the hags they'll die and leave us in peace
|
lol your uncle touched your daughter's leg and now he's a pedophile?
jesus what's next...
give your son a pat on the back and you get mobs at your house.

you live in the US. bad luck ;/
here in germany it's no big deal. if a 15 year old girl wants to be together with a 18,19,20 year old (or still older) it's no problem at all in most cases. in fact i see that happen very often because the >=18 year old usually owns a car already (among other things) and is therefore coooool~~*ggggg*
in my neighborhood was even a girl who came together with her singing teacher. she was 14 at that time and he something like mid 40s... the people were of course talking (as usual) but it was not prohibited nor were they directly confronted with any critique towards their relationship. (14 sounds a bit pedo maybe but biologically she was beyond her age - there are exceptions like that. she looked of course young, but not at all "flat chested" or smth, that's my point)
JUST AN EXAMPLE to illustrate what's possible here and in the US definitely wouldn't be.. even milder cases (as you described) would still be the utmost evil-doing.
but on the other hand your teenagers may already play and watch all the brutal video games and movies which are either indexed or "ab 18" in Ger. That's just as good isn't it?!?! :D .. 8[ (we are evil nazis and you don't want to tempt our blood..)
|
40 and 14, wtf? now that is pedo.
|
LOL that park story, although funny, truly shows how some parents are becoming much more overprotective. I mean, we can't really blame them.
+ Show Spoiler +It's people like me that they should be afraid of, GG

a 40 year old with a 14 year old?... now that is just fucking weird.
I could understand 30+20 year old
40+30
but 40+14?...
i think 10 is a big enough age difference -_-

Just think, the same people who created these morales, which used to fill us up , have strung them out, however, I don't blame really blame them. ..
It's not "ridiculous" as you are implying, rape and general misconduct are second nature to society and belligerent crooks are everywhere, you really can never be too safe
although in the select few stories you pointed out, those people seriously overreacted / had no place to act the way that they did, i'm sure there are just as many not so funny/ ridiculous stories,
For example, some teen girl was recently found dead in a sewer, report investigators have identified him and personals are now interviewing the parents of this poor victim
"Any words?" Mother : "Yes..*sobs* , there was this nice boy ( or so he seemed so) that helped my daughter up when she fell, and I could've... I could've... *chokes up* said "Don't touch my daughter!" and easily ran over there to help her with some preemptive thinking , but the boy seemed so nice... with good intentions, so i just ignored it..., next thing you know i hear her screaming and i could only watch as the boy took her across the street , and slit her throat/threw her into the sewer and ran off"
. . .
Ok a little exaggeration but.. you get my point

what you think is not important. my point was merely that it's tolerated here. there are enough people living here and it was known to the whole town but nobody did try to stop them or even critize them openly. (not the parents, not some old conservative farts, nobody - talk, yes, lots of it) i just wanted to make clear what sexual freedom you have here in germany in contrast to north america. if the singing teacher in fact is pedo or if it was real love towards a person who does look more like 16-17 (mind you are of age at 18 here in germany) than 14 is not the question.

There's no "mass paranoia" ; shit actually happens. quite frankly i wouldn't trust any random stranger, i'm glad you are willing to put faith in someone you've never met before in your life BUT we don't live in a happy frolicking utopia where everything is made out of candy and sunshine
so yes i am "distrustful" What's wrong with that?
|
the point is not about being distrustful, since most people should be as there are far more devious people than people with good intentions; rather, the point is that certain behaviors aren't accepted in North America [or at least not in public] to the point that they are accepted in Europe
|
post links if you are going to use an example
its' a very good topic btw

It comes down to, you don't have to trust every stranger, but since when is it safe to assume that all of them are going to fuck you over in some way. Every friend/co worker/aquaintence etc... you talk to were strangers at some point.
Like, i appreciate someone telling a guy in their mid twenties to fuck off if he's near their daughter/son, but if you see them helping your kid up, or catching them before they fall then do so, your a douche. Its all in moderation, people are people, some good some bad, no need to treat everyone as a horrible human being, no need to trust them all, but living life with your head over your shoulder isn't a good way to live.

There are more devious people than people with good intentions? wtf, what kind of world are you living in?
|
oh i just made it up lol, i thought that was obvious b/c i quoted what the OP said eariler with the "Don't touch my daughter!"
eh? EH?

I think the problem is like McCarthyism. There is this massive fear (or at least their will be), that anyone who shows an interest in anything vaguely communist, IS a communist and should be reported.
So, anyone who shows an interest in children, IS a pedophile and should be reported.
Most child molestation happens within families. There aren't strangers lurking around corners waiting to grab up your children and rape them.
Sure, it's happened, but should we derive our children of connection with adults, and people, because of the ever so slight chance they could be assaulted?
We might as well sit at home wearing body armor all day.
