For those who don't know what Bell is, it is simply a cell phone, home phone, internet, and tv provider.
Employees get a demo line, which basically means free calls, free text, free data plans which includes email, internet etc.
The problem is, Bell is outdated. EXTREMELY outdated. SO outdated, Japan and Korea are taking liquid shit on it. It doesn't use the GSM system (SIM cards). Yes, it still uses lines per phone.
I like working there, for the environment is a good place to work at for a student. I don't care for the old technology, because I am with Rogers, which DOES use SIM cards. The only thing I am unhappy with is the fact that for the demo line, I have to BUY a CDMA 850/1900 MHz capable phone. Fuck.
And add to that, one that includes BOTH CDMA and GSM, just in case I quit, and am left with an outdated phone I can't use SIM cards in.
New phones I like are the HTC TYTN II, HTC Touch Diamond, or even the Samsung Instinct. BUT THE HTCs ARE ONLY GSM CAPABLE, AND THE SAMSUNG IS CDMA CAPABLE ONLY. Fuck.
my only choice is to get a Blackberry 8830, but if I quit, I wont have the data plan anymore, making my Blackberry useless. Fuck.
Can anyone suggest an awesome phone, which is GSM AND CDMA 850/1900 MHz capable? Bell phones suck massive balls and are ass raping expensive.
(It has to be flashy so I can show off to customers and workers and preferably have a keyboard phone similar to the HTC TYTN II or a fully touch screen like the Samsung Instinct.)
If only Bell took it's head out of it's ass and caught up.
