last night, it was over 90 degrees in Fahrenheits.
i was alone in my room, and i was surfing online and stuff.
all of sudden, my house's blacked out. i immediately looked out the window in my room, and i saw that my entire town was blacked out.
and then i heard some LOUD noise, and i saw some kind of orange light not too far away. maybe in like a half a mile?
at this point, i was thinking, what if this was like a bomb or like a missile that just landed here?
i've seen explosions on history channels and in war movies. this thought was very frightening.
i thought, i could be dead in less than a second.
the fear of turning into ash just like that with my family downstairs was like the thought of blacking out.
it was truly scary...
this fear i had must have been similar to what Chinese people may have felt when they saw death(earthquakes) coming at them with their own eyes, or just like the people in 9/11 planes..
the thought of "u know ur dead, and theres nothing u can do about it at this point." is fucking scary.
anyway, i just hope for peace..

my house also lost electricity that day and it was really really hot out (we lost A/C at the worst time, but itll get fixed), but i didnt experience a loud noise and an orange light

nah, i don't really think it was anything. XD

hmm that's interesting, why did the power go out then?
MAYBE ALIENS?!?!

yeah. you having a blackout in new jersey accompanied by an orange light is probably exactly how people from 9/11 felt as they saw a plane flying at them, watching people jump from a 100 story building. or even people in china watching buildings fall down because the ground beneath them is legitimately moving. are you kidding?
my bad. you said the people in the planes. yeah, how they felt with people with knives hijacking their planes wondering why they're flying straight into a building in nyc.

im sorry. its just a little outrageous that he feared for his life because it got dark all of a sudden. 1300 people + in the tristate area(where he lives) dont have power as we speak i dont think any of them are fearing for their lives unless they are one of the few million poor in the area who have real problems. then, to compare it even to 9/11, which also actually occured in the tristate area and killed thousands of people... seriously?
im sorry if a little rude about it but jesus.

ever find out what was the loud noise nad orange light?
i've gotten several blackouts in my area,,, irvine of all places... i wonder why they happen on hot days... overusage of AC to overburden the electricity?

If it just got dark, he wouldn't be scared but he said he heard a bright orange light and a loud noise.
