Before I begin!!: I have a bunch of pictures I wanna share but I don't have my camera here at the lan center, I just stopped by for a few minutes. I'll definitely have em in my next entry.
Anyway, about 2 hours ago I started the first day/class of my job. It was pretty intense. The kids were really fun and amicable so that was easy but the teacher who oversees me pretty much decided to sit in on my class and I was nervous as fuck. Not to mention my conversational korean with people my age was not so sharp since I hardly practice it back in the states.
Sigh... hopefully the teacher who was with me today understands. She is really nice and generous to me, but I felt like she was a bit underwhelmed by my performance. I was sweating and shit by the time the hour had passed.
It was my 2nd uncle's birthday yesterday [ my oldest uncle and aunt own a restaurant ] so we ate at my aunt's place. My cousin from Seoul came by and I was so happy to see her. She's 29 but since I don't have anyone around my age to hang with it was awesome seeing her. I'm actually going to her place this weekend because Friday is like a school holiday or something. I'm gonna stay there until Sunday, possibly Monday. I'm planning to meet up with a friend and see my other cousin. [ Maybe Susie too if you aren't busy?^^]
About starcraft: [ it is TL after all, lol ] It's fun to see live games again, and still ridiculous having 2 channels stream almost exclusively starcraft matches all the time. At 7 am in the morning [ I wake up usually around that time cuz of jet lag ] I can turn on the tv and starcraft will be on. Last week's proleague games or some shit. I've watched some bnet attack and live battle shows because POV's are fun to watch. Still, it is a bit daunting, there are so many new faces in progaming compared to when I really followed it closely. I will probably go to a game or two this weekend when I'm in the city.
Anyway, thanks for reading guys I'll try to keep you posted. I'm in walking distance of 4 lan centers so I actually can get on more than I thought I would....Actually I kinda wanted to avoid computers a bit during my trip since back in the states I spend most of my day in front of one...
Heen, where abouts are you at? I guess I could fit in a dota game or two haha.

Yeah i'm excited for some pictures too.
How will you manage to retain your korean? Maybe you should start practicing by talking to strangers in korea. I hope you can maintain your korean, and feel more confident around your supervisor.
I hope there's lots of photos

I use the account xD.Heen these days on USWest. I usually play past 6 PM. Morning = busy = no GGC games with TL. I assume that if you're ever getting on west you'll be on as JLIG.Vicious? I'll /f add you during your stay here :p
I'll be on starting thursday or so but drop me a PM if you ever decide to play. I understand DotA isn't high up on your list of things to do here ^^; but it should be fun!

Hey guys...doing my daily visit to the pc bang again -___- [ I should stop really, but so boring otherwise and I can't fucking watch nba playoff games at home ]
I KILLED it today in class. Yesterday I fucked up a lot because the duty teacher was there but even I think I did really well today. One of the kids even mentioned that I was teaching with a lot more confidence haha. All the kids know how to count to 100 and know all about the US money system, pennies quarters nickels etc, what makes dollars, what presidents are on what bills.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna have some great pictures after this weekend. I leave for Seoul this thursday since schools here have friday off.
Heen, I meant like where in Korea rofl... Anyway I'll try to get some dota games in around that schedule you gave. I'll be using JLIG.Vicious on west.
Rek: I can handle ajuma types, but I don't know about her being boring since she already asked if I'm old enough to drink! haha
SC related: Saw Giyom's live battle this morning on TV. Sighhh I felt old watching him play so slow. He plays at like 150 apm lol. But it was great to see he could speak Korean. Giyom fighting! Always #1 foreigner!

I live in Daejeon for school lawl Most of my relatives live in Seoul though. It turns out that I'll be less busy than I thought I would be this week so I can pretty much get on BNet any time, except maybe thursday night. I drop by Seoul from time to time so maybe we can meet up. Ryugie/paper is supposed to come this summer and I'm supposed to show him around but I have a feeling it'll be all drinking and PC bang -_-;;
Have fun teaching, fighting!
