Ok so recently I have been really absorbed with music and writing music and playing music (mainly guitar, some keyboards and maybe some drum machines haha).
SO far i have written one incomplete song (well tabbed it out)and now i want to start writing lyrics and learning how to sing (death metal style, like death growls and screams and stuff). I can use a program for drums at the moment and I can layer guitars in programs as well.
I want to start a band with some friends which is sort of unrelated...
So on to what i made a blog for: I need some ideas from metal fans. Im not talking about people who like shitty bands like Disturbed or Korn or whatever (fuck you slipknot). I want people who are really into the hardcore and black metal/death metal scene and who know about sick riffs and cool drums (blast beats and shit).
As far as lyrics go I can make up some dark stuff or w/e but it would be really cool if everyone chipped in and i could make a song based off what Teamliquid has to say.. If you play guitar send me some tabs you think would be cool or sick sounding.
Any ideas would be appreciate, it hardly matters what its about as long as it relates to the genre of music. AS soon as i get enough material ill start creating the song and then upload it somewhere and you guys can hear it...

How about writing a perspective (I think that's the word...dunno) song of a Dark Templar whose base was destroyed and his quest for revenge as he sneaks into the Terran encampment and slaughters all of the marines there only to be killed by a tank shell in the face. I'll edit this post if I'm able to come with the lyrics.
Can't really think of any riffs since I play very very little death metal...and I play bass besides.
Edit: (Song starts off with some heavy blast beat and some tapping guitar riff at like...250 bpm, then slows down for about 5 seconds, then speeds up again and you start screaming)
