Didn't make it to any of the firms I applied for.

I did get to the final stage for KPMG and Pitcher Partners.

Pitcher Partner's main reason for not giving me an offer was because of the personality test.

Is it just me, or is that really discouraging? I mean, if I screwed up the interview, or my group interactions were weak, then that's fine. I can fix that. It's a little more difficult (read 'impossible') to fix a personality. Looks like I'll need to figure out how to lie on these tests.

Oh well, time to look for some alternatives.

Ha I applied at least 10 places, I'll enumerate some:
some printing copy place
some research assistant
some lab assistant in general
some lab dish washer (it gets worse see? expectation drops)
job at restruant
some other tutor job (accepted, but I had to move out of the city)
Acedemic service center tutoring

My dad was looking for a better job for 2 full years before he got the snazzy job he has now, so it isn't just me or you but it pretty much applies to everybody. The way people hire is they always encourage you to show your best, and once u've shown that, they say "ah but that wasn't good enough for us, sorry, u tried hard and we tip our hat for u, just not our money." So you all got your hopes up and to be busted, it's gotta be sux.

So I got rejected from all of them, I felt so bad when I wasn't accepted by Academic service center, I emailed them back asking why wasn't I chosen and they looked over my app again and said "Oh it actually looks tight we'll give u an interview". SO I went in evan style and pwnt the interview and now I have a job yay~

Keep trying! All that hard work will make better decisions in where to apply and increase quality of resume
^lol @ grammar I try minimize words per meaning it seems fun.

j/w evan, what was that other tutoring job? Was it a tutoring place in Berkeley? Because I was applying to some places there also.
