Couple months ago I posted a blog that I was leaving for the Air Force. Now that im done with Basic Military Training(BMT), I have enter Tech School.

Many people have the misconception that I would be flying a F-15 or fixing aircrafts. What people do not know, that there is a 148 other jobs. The job that I have gotten is Security Forces, which is like law enforcement, gate gaurding and Flight lines. Im halfway done with my training. Once im done I will be going to South Korea for about 2-3 years.

About my BMT experience,it was ez for the most part expect the very first week. And i mean they break you down to nothing. No sleep the first night. In that night we had 2 mins to shave, everyones faces was cut up. We were doing up downs, push up and leg lifts that night.
Also that night he would make us face our wall locker and come by and punch it. I thought he was punching people. Let me just say I have never been so fucking scared.
Couple other details while I was in BMT. You got 2-5mins to eat. You go to bed at 9 get up at 4, you march everywhere you go, you have shit thrown at you(I had a chair thrown at me), you clean every night(my job was bathrooms) and they get up in your face, spit flying everywhere.

But at the end of your 6 weeks the flight of 40-60 airmen and yout TI(Training Instructor) come together and you really respect the man or female(Female instructors are the worse).

Oh man, bootcamp...

Congrats on finishing it, and yea, isn't it like 5% of the airforce are actually pilots? Heh, South Korea, interesting place to be stationed, did you request it?

Good luck anyways.

basic training was overrated for me in the army. i went in 2005. i guess they got soft. drill seargents, let me say, maybe be good at everything themselves and can push people to workout and move, but when it comes to teaching information SUCK BALLS.

i don't care too much for the pay either. that definitely sucks balls.

As for me, the military sucks balls (surprise). You have no idea what's going on. you're a pawn for a powerstructure that doesn't put themselves in danger at all, while making huge profits off of your death, and the death you cause for others. most of the time military is abused. look at america today. If there was a real threat to america today, i would fight. but i don't buy the terrorist propaganda. more evidence points towards domestic infiltration. We swore to protect the CONSTITUTION from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. domestic domestic domestic. men that purpose to destroy the constitution!

Not only do you have the actions and fruits of an office gone sour, as we see in domestic spying granted by the patriot act, torture and a loose definition of terrorist in the military commissions act, but we have the confession of an ideology that opposes the constitution.

i quote bush "[the constitution] it's just a god damned piece of paper"
"this would be a whole lot easier if this country was a dictatorship. so long as i'm the dictator"
many many more. they're all over the net.

haha it would seem so huh? no i talk about it all the time. i've had a restructuring of my principles, and beliefs after i got out of the army and discovered loose change/ the federal reserve/ and the us constitution.

but i must admit, about the my military experience, yes, i did want to get that off my chest. it's a trap you must learn to avoid in life, just like you need to learn to avoid drugs, debt, etc. I consider serving under a corrupt military worse. Granted there are things you personally get out of it, like courage, discipline and all, but that's not a thing good principles, tough times, and a good mentors can't give you. In the military, you throw away your time, better pay, creative freedom, and personal freedoms. again, summed up in one word: pawn. And the line between "having proud to have served" vs "a false sense of pride" is very thin. you don't know what the fuck the top commanders are thinking.

perhaps i'm a little too harash and biased on the military. i just know for sure it ain't for me. it makes me miserable. i would be miserable and unfulfilled even if i was a high ranking officer or nco. Linear thinking, training to obey without thinking or questioning, and going through life like a horse with intellectual side view blockers... they suffocate me and i detest them. it's the foundation of all forms of tyranny and slavery.

If the government was small, if our intelligence could be trusted to be free of secret manipulations, if there was a real threat, i would see the military in a better light. However there is too much that indicate the military is heading 100000mph in the wrong direction.

its a dirty job.. but someone has to do it. Without a military a country is just too vulnerable.

I've been to national service before continuing my studies, and yes... it really does suck. The instructors were shit dumb, i never learned to respect them... We followed all the orders they gave us, just to get pwned because some other guy messed up. Never got enough sleep.. getting shouted at.. etc. Although like you said, some people tend to forget everything when the course ends and actually come to respect the instructors, we'll.. I dont. I learned nothing, gained nothing, and most of all... wasted time. If it wasnt compulsary, I wouldnt have been there. Respect in the military? Yeah right.. you only respect those who are above you, anyone with a lower rank its ok to shit on. Thats the only thing i see the military is teaching.
My only advice, if you want to join the military, be someone in it.. being a regular grunt just aint good enough. Most of the officers were really nice and respectable people.. I hope you'll be like them one day. : )

Yah I requested Korea, But now I hear that S Korea does not like the US Military. O well but i had a Friend that was in Korea up by the DMZ and he said he had 92 missles pointed at the base and his life expectence was less than 10mins...kinda fucked up but im looking forward to it.

Well my instructors are the shit. So far everyone that has been teaching me is awesome. But to the point where if you are a lower rank, you pretty much get shit on, your completely right. All I want to do is put in my 20 years, retire and then get a job in the military as a Civilian and retire after 5 yrs there and collect 2 pays checks.
