[H] Amateur photography, buying a camera.
I did a ton of research on all the suggestions and finally bought one, I had budgeted about $1200(AUD) I ended up spending $2800.
I ended up buying a Canon EOS 40D with a Tamron 18-250mm lens, I don't know much about photography, but I know I have always wanted to get into it, so I figured I might as well get something that will be able to cover most scenarios.
I took it out this morning, read a bit through the manual and started walking around my backyard.
Be kind, its the first time I have ever used a DSLR, but I've read a bit about how they work.
Statue across the yard, photo taken at 250mm the object was around 30 metres away, I have resized it to upload but at full size/resolution you can zoom in far enough to see the texture on the budgies.
Random flower amongst the plants.
My pet cactus, Steve.
An attempt at HDR imaging in photoshop, photo of my yard and hammock.
