I think reality crashed in on me. They looked pretty inept the entire game. Going up 14-0 with those turnovers only functioned as a way to make the loss hurt more in my mind hehe. Anyways they SHOULD draft a RB and make some moves. Hopefully a stronger running game will return with a more experienced Matt H to win the division and make a better run in the playoffs. Too bad they can't get Slaton :|
Where is Slaton from? Also McFadden added his name to the draft today.. along with his backup who apparently ran for 3k yards as a backup hehe.
RB is a position that these days is really really easy to get a major talent in. The draft the last 4 years or so has been FLOODED with amazing players. Seahawks just need to wisen up and get one this year.

No. But I really only know BW players and not players from the games that already have MBS.

For instance, do you periodically check your mins/gas/supply ala rear vision mirrors or is it more instinct that you know what to do when and everything else just flows? What mindset do you take into each game? Do things vary from opponent to opponent (not with regard to builds but rather mindset)? Anything else you feel that is unique or peculiar about your take on bw would also be appreciated (this isn't just a 'o i see 2gate and i do this' question btw) 3) What was the jump from high school like for you? Any advice?
1. Pretty damn impossible to answer. But I guess it would be the one game I beat Pusan in. I got zerglings into his base and micro'd better than I ever do. Teched to hydras and did a pressure micro style on his expansion. He played amazingly (as usual) and held it off despite being behind from the lings with great storms and perfect zealot play while secretly expanding to the top expansion (was on LT). He won the series 2-1 but all 3 were great games and I am biased to the one I won obviously
2. This is VERY hard to answer. When people who know me commentate on my style or gameplay they recognize that I am by far not the fastest or most mechanically sound. I win games predominantly with intelligent play and well positioned tactics/units. This means my mind is very sharp in games. Playing for 10 years I have a natural timing of most things... so telling you all of them is impossible.. its kind of a natural flow. As far as mindset and whats unique about me... I just try and play each game to win. Meaning if I know the player is a super safe player I will play standard 12 hatch or pool and react to their choices. If I know them to be risky I like to go either super risky or super safe.. and I find that my equal ability to do both has opponents who know me second guessing themselves and as such playing down from their normal level. This makes me a tougher opponent and also allows me to dictate the game more often than not.
3. My advice is that you take a deep breath and relax... you are about to enter the best period of your life. HS was a blast... college is MORE fun. You are an adult now but kinda not.. you still get all the perks of help from family/friends while being able to make MORE adult decisions.. only period in your life where its this socially acceptable and even welcomed. Be open to people and get involved. Join a club or play intramurals. Dont get completely absorbed in something frosh year. Dont date a single girl and spend all your time with her. Dont over party. Dont over study. Dont over sleep/procrastinate. Do all of it equally. Anything else fire away.

Most difficult skill level to break in terms of practice input/results?
Not necessarily looking for a letter grade difference, but that would obviously be easiest indicator [:

I think people looking to get better are at a unique advantage to when I was trying to do it. Now with replays, a huge community and an active ladder all the tools are there for whoever wants to put in the time. I think the biggest jump a player can make and also the hardest would be the kind of gamer that jumps from a .500 record C-/+ to a .750 B-/+ player. I realize you didnt ask for a letter indicator but I really dont know how else to characterize it.
This is particularly because just about anyone who spends time with BW can run through the basics and win every other game against players doing the same. It takes an advantage or a understanding of the game to remove yourself from this crowd and become the kind of player that can string multiple victories together versus players of equal or worse skill. This is especially difficult because you cannot learn these things just casually playing. You must practice with better opponents and actually do so with the mindset of seeking to find your own flaws and areas where you can improve. You must also seek ideas/bo's/strategies from advanced players via vods/replays/strategy forum (TL.net is the ONLY one that is credible atm). Working on all this will increase the chances of you being able to make the leap from a 50/50 average player to someone who can put a winning record together and peak at a sub high level rank on the community ladder.

I fell in love with this game for its aliens (zerg) and the protoss are easily the second coolest aliens in sc When I offrace my protoss is actually pretty good. I like their brute power and different units. Really cool race imo.
can you handle a shadow rush pvt?

Continue to do what you do... 10 months is a relatively short period of time especially if its "on and off." Remember this game is incredibly hard to crack and is considered extremely intimidating to gamers of other genres/titles.. 10 months is a short period of time to get towards the C/+ level.
Start branching out and befriending people.. via ICCUP or just friendly games in op tl-west or any other clan/gaming channel. Eventually you should network to someone that is better than you and can offer advice or practice that is more constructive. If that continues to not work PM me down the road and I would be happy to take a few minutes to help you with some things.

Do you think SC2 will ever have as competitive of a pro-scene as Broodwar has?
Bonus follow-up: Do you think SC2's pro-scene will replace Broodwar's, or do you think they will both have their own place, or some other option that I didn't mention?

Arrested Development Curb Your Enthusiasm The Office (both) Seinfeld Southpark
Are the only shows I watch. I will eventually get into Dexter (watched some).
My favorite MOVIE is impossible to peg.. I see a movie in theatres about every week sometimes more and I own hundreds while I read about/follow countless others all the time. Suffice to say I am a huge movie "buff." But some of my favorites are "The Big Lebowski" / "Requem of a Dream" / "The Ghost in the Darkness" / "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" / the original Star Wars trilogy / The original alien1-3/Predator1-2 movies / Terminator 2 / Tombstone / Shoot'em Up and Memento.

Have you ever been supremely frustrated at the game (not in the breaking objects sense that you already answered, but in the sense of repeated losses followed by "ROAR I FUCKING QUIT.")? How did you overcome the frustration?
Thanks for your response to my first question by the way.

Inc, what's a good way to exercise? Lately, I've been trying to catch up with some working out, since I get little physical movement in my job and after. In other words, I'm trying to make up for being a fatass, but I think I'm pushing myself too hard. I'm pushing myself until my at least one part of my body feels wrecked. My father and brother pointed out this is actually more detrimental to my health than helpful.
What can I do to get the most out of my exercise? Specifically, I'm trying really hard to catch up on basketball, since that's the sport I most enjoy. I work basically all day, so the only time I get to exercise is at night or if I wake up very early.
