Mech tvz is pretty neat.. it's a lot like BW mech tvp. You need good harrass with the hellions. Moving around the map, taking the tower, fighting tumors back and killing lings/drones where necessary. While you are doing that you need to be building up tanks or thors off of 2-3 tech addons and taking a third (2 base pushes are different). If your hellions are getting shut down you are going to have a tough time so there is a lot of multi task here. Decent upgrades (I recommend armor if thors and attack if tanks) while checking their tech.. they should get some mutas out (Not mass) but enough that can slow you down if you haven't made the 2-3 turrets per base.

1. VileIllusion -- think he plays a solid style and has the ability to go deep in major tourneys yet still doesn't get much attention.
2. Shew -- was just signed to Clash but that is still pretty close to "not pro" in my books.. amazing player works hard and is talented.

Being one of the managers of a semi-professional SC2 team, I often ask myself this:
What do pro gamers do after they get too old to continue playing at the highest level? This is assuming of course that age will eventually catch up with them.
I don't mean this to become one of those generic "is it worth becoming a pro gamer?" kind of discussions. I'm specifically interested in what pro gamers do after their career? From what you know of the community, do they mostly stay in e-sports? Or do they go to college after their SC2 career? I know each case is different, but are there some common themes?
A long time ago I was facing the question whether I should become a professional chess player. I decided against it, one of the reasons was that I knew I couldn't be doing it forever, and had no back up plan for afterward. So naturally this question intrigues me in the realm of SC2 as well.
I'd be interested to hear what you have to say on this matter!

Recently, I felt like I hit a brick wall recently while playing sc2, and it happened just as I hit my highest rank I have ever achieved (masters top 8 :D but that was day 1 :/ ). I've watched multiple tournaments with you,in it, and even when you do a bit shabby you still have the resolve and mental strength to do it. I really want to know how in hell you can still play even though when you feel like your results are lacking (because thats how I feel right now, was demoted to diamond). I feel like i've completely lost the will to even touch a ladder game but I still want to play and improve.
Last question: where did ur banhammer go?

I'm a big fan of all you EG guys. I recently have tried switching to toss, and decided to start watching your stream to pick up some pointers etc. Then I looked at your chat and it said "y, you are banned from this chat channel." I have not typed anything in you stream and would never bm anyone (I do live with 3 roommates who all play sc as well so hopefully they aren't trolling me by trolling AS me in chat channels). At any rate....can you unban??

I'm having a lot of problems against mutas while I'm playing toss. Is the key to just be more aggressive when you spot the spire? When I spot the spire should I instantly put cannons down on my mineral lines? Obviously get blink if I don't have it.. GRRRRR I hate them

I remember you saying you played chess in HS.
1) Did you go to any tournaments? How did you do?
2) Were you ever in the USCF?
3) What's your favorite opening?
I feel like FFE into stargate is really weak against mass roach/hydra early 3 base play. Any advice on holding off such a powerful push when i'm investing so early in units that will not be that effective in a straight up fight?

Yeah but I was nothing special in HS. Went to HS tourneys did ok but again against people that were nothing special as well.. sorry

This is kind of a silly question, but it is about something that I have been struggling with for months now. I would really appreciate your opinion on it <3
I have a really terrible PC that bogs down to 4 fps in mid and late game engagements when supplies start breaking the ~120 food mark for both players. I've taken some games off low masters on the ladder but can't seem to break over the hump to promotion. I want to blame my PC for my lack of improvement, but I suspect that, in theory, you should be able to get into masters with zero micro playing mouse only.
So I guess my question is: Do you think you could make masters playing a macro style if you had to play at 4fps and had zero micro ability because of it?

Hey just wanted you to know that because of the exposure you give Steel Series Siberia V2 headphones on your stream I bought some last week and got them this week. I actually did some checking for reviews, etc. before buying. I've only ever had cheap headphones, so these were a huge improvement. Loving them so far! They don't make me play any better, but I at least look much cooler while playing.

What are your long/short term goals regarding SC2? And finally, who do you think will help you the most to achieve those things (teammate, anna, etc)?

Greatest things to overcome are all the things outside the game that distract and drain me... dealing with the business side and social aspect of SC2 at this level is very difficult to balance while still maintaining a progamer practice schedule.
I am looking to improve most my play obviously  I want results not "gg's" against good players!
Long term goals are to do the best I can at everything. I want to be the best player, commentator, personality etc.. short term I want results.
Anna has the most influence to help me remain calm and happy so I don't let all the pressure/outside stuff eat me up and Demuslim is my greatest teacher he has helped me a ton.
