Lately my girlfriend and I have been very promiscuous, and I've discovered a bit of a problem: I can't keep a boner for a very very long period of time. This is probably typical with guys as it's not normal to be able to hold one for 4+ hours as a woman can sometimes expect you to do.

It really turns out to be a huge pain in the ass. Like today she came over around 2 and left around midnight and got pretty pissed when I wasn't up for getting head right before she left. I was simply completely drained. Couldn't get it up. That's basically what happens after ten hours of messing around.

In a nutshell, she didn't understand. And I don't like it. So, any other guys here at TL have that problem? If so, how do you fix it? Any recommendations?

Well, people are touchy about sexual things. The fact is, the best way to handle situations like this is through direct conversation. Tell her how it is and make her understand that your body does not work the way she seems to expect it to. Also help her understand how your body DOES work, so she will know what to expect.

Because sex can be such a sensitive topic, be sure you are caring and non-threatening and non-critical in how you approach the topic.

It is pretty normal to not have as firm an erection after you cum one, two, three, or more times. It is also normal that you would lose your erection more quickly. Personally, I've never had more than 3 orgasms with a girl in a single day, although I would frequently reach 3 (spending some serious time in the bedroom

Some guys, especially with age, cannot cum more than once a day. This all varies person to person.

If you are having problems with your erection before you have had any orgasm at all (doesn't seem to be what is going on, but just in case...), I would suggest that it could be a few things: 1) Condom issues (condoms have a slight numbing effect). 2) Confidence issues 3)Pregnancy worries 4) Masturbating to orgasm in the same day you have sex (depleting yourself before you even get started with sex).

Last of all, my suggestion (and you may already be practicing this) is that you don't confine all sex to situations where your erection and orgasm are necessary. I have no confidence issues or worries about pregnancy, I really just think it's from being hard for so very long.

Track, it sounds like you know what the "problem" is. You got off to many times and can't keep getting hard. This is inevitable and is not a problem at all.

Just talk with her, but don't be rough about it. Just be straight forward and kind. It has nothing to do with how sexy she is, it has to do with the limitations of the male body.
