BW has lost that thing it used to have, its going to die when sc2 comes out, and each day I feel I loose a little bit more of my life when I play BW.
We all have to know when to go, now is my time. I will try and see that the HSL is well taken care of (I wont leave it stranted).
People talk about a passion for BW, thats a passion that I used to have, but not anymore. I want to build a passion for life, not for bw.
There is no future for me if I continue to make swiss cheese out of my education--letting bw cut out holes of what really matters-- I have to see where my priorities are in life, and they are not in something that is killing my summer.
Im going to go while I still have half of a summer left, while I still can, while I still have a soul.
Computer game addiction is a serious thing, I intend to seek help with quitting. People say im stopping, then you watch vods, then you play on weekends. Then when you are studying for your finals you turn on a bw vod.
GG no re The end.

T.T This sounded like a suicide note to me. Well it is sorta since you are killing the part of yourself that holds SC dear. T.T

its not suicide, its about finally experiencing life. The part of myself that held SC dear was dead long before I wrote that

why do people always believe that things like this are "all or nothing" like you have to quit something completely to do well in school. doing both is 100% possible if you're responsible and mature. control yourself.

because some people don't have enough self-control and self-confidence to do so

although i'm personally in favor of you quitting sc for a year next year HB .
yeah, usually 100% quitting doesn't find success, better to phase it out or just impose some limits on the amt of time you let youreslf play

;O Your priorites may be mixed up but theres no reason to quit it entirely.
I've been lucky though, I don't need to study that hard before tests, i'm a quick learner, so i've always had time for some BW whenever I feel like it.
My passion for brood war wouldn't be the same without the competetive side theres to it with the korean proleagues, ladders etc though. But usually what I do is that when school is around, I study for a hour or two, then play bw or hang out with friends rest of the time. Weekends I usually socialize by going to a party or maybe rent a movie with a couple of friends.. w/e And sundays I just kick back in my chair and do some hardcore gaming ;D
What Hot_Bid said is 100% true also. You don't need to quit, you just need to balance it out, like 50% school, 50% bw.. or like 25% School, 25% bw, 50% social life etc.. It's doable and I like doing just that.
Although since theres no school going on atm (Summer holidays) I tend to do it like 50% bw, 50% socialize ;D
