Like I said, I'm still in the same city. I'm still teaching English (public middle schools). I'm still watching and playing Starcraft (though more Starcraft 1 these days). In a lot of ways, not much has changed. However, I did stop playing Starcraft 2 for a long, long time. I mostly played PUBG and a few other games for a while. Around that time, I also stopped writing for the Collegiate StarLeague (~2 years ago). That said, I still love CSL and what they do. It just became really hard to cover NA collegiate Starcraft 2 from Korea while also adjusting to teaching, living in Korea, and living with relatively low levels of #Passion. It would be cool to get back into esports journalism/writing, but I'm not sure how I could do that or where I would find the time.
One of the less embarrassing things I did in my old blog posts was setting goals and sharing pictures, so I'll end this post with a few short-term goals I have (and I'll find some pictures later for the next post):
[ ] Reach Rank C (yes, I know I'm a n00b)
---[ ] Stop letting manner pylons tilt me
---[ ] Stop building leaky walls vs Z
---[ ] Stop giving in to Korean BM (나가, etc.)
-----[ ] More GG, more skill
[ ] Go to Seoul to watch some live Starcraft
[ ] Find some pictures to share with the people
[ ] Learn a bit of Tekken 7
[ ] Think of a specific Korean studying goal
