You captured him much better than that first picture... Nice touch with the TL logo in the back

Your version is way better.

Prefer your version by a distance. As I cannot draw at all I can’t really criticise those with talent but the previous one I’d only really think was Geoff after someone told me it was, your one I could have randomly seen anywhere and immediately known (even without the TL flag)
Speaking of, the TL background works much better as well. While obviously not the actual flag, the original initially made me think of Sweden for some reason, adding to my confusion. Reminded me a bit of an old Rain fan image which was great but unfortunately the background was very reminiscent of the flag of Imperial Japan
Great job!

Yeah definitely feels like you did his character more justice imo. Great portrayal imo.
Minor nitpick is that considering the long history of iNcontrol with EG it feels weird to see him in front of a TL logo. He was a long time TL (the page) member, but while EG and TL seem mostly cool with each other, these are still rivaling orgs.

Wow, your work for sure has more soul in comparison to Blizzard version.
I'm thinking to print this picture and place it somewhere on room walls one day...

makes the original look like a stock male photo. nice work!

Believe me or not, this made me cry.

yeah, it's very sad. I believe it. Time goes by so fast and it was pretty unexpected. I'm glad you found value in the video.

Your painting captures his facial structure far more accurately. The brows and cheeks are much more true to Geoff and the hair is kind of generally painted better.
Posture and facial expression are also more evocative of Geoff.
Very well done, is yours digital? It captures the traditional media brush stroke really nicely

This reminded me that Incontrol is dead. A thought which still cannot be easily accepted by reason.
Though he was at EG, not TL. Still the background, in the sense of the forum, fits.
The heartbreaking thing: Glider's rendition is like Intcontrol smiling at me while he knows he is dead. Something in the image is moving.

Yeah it really translates well for you, I never really was able to get too far into painting, so I'm shitty at it, but your work really strikes the kind of balance between mimicking traditional media via digital media thats so hard for a lot of people who've grown up entirely on the digital media spectrum.
I'd enjoy seeing you tackle science fiction or fantasy illustration, I could see you making some sweet M:tG cards.
