I recently started playing live gigs doing ambient electronic music.

The scene is tiny so I need to get used to playing to an audience of 5-10 people but I'm really enjoying it.
Its also really weird being on stage and not having to constantly 'play' an instrument i guess. I got freaked out about this at my first gig and tried to put live drumming in there but it didn't really work.

This is what my set sounds like,
its nice, then dark, then psychedelic.

The mixing is awful on this because its as it would be live with no post editing or mixing/mastering.

Its nice for chill music if you're a bit high or whatever

This is enjoyable without drugs.

@10:20 when you go out of the darkness, you waste the potential of this. Like, I was hearing a melody building up for the last 4 minutes and I wanted a beautiful, melodic, synphonic firework (even it it breaks the genre and would go into classical music for a bit) as a solution.
I mean, I got over my disappointment by 12:03. The happy little robot helps, but at that point it might aswell be another set.

I think you're right about the dark bit, it kinda builds up and then just stops. I need to work on how to transition between those two parts. They are very different vibes so the transition is the hardest bit.

I have another 10 minutes to play with though so I can extend Radiation Storm longer and play with the structure a bit.
