EPTAnd this is it. This new feature is the shit, and I intend to use it.
Just a few words to introduce myself.
I am swiss (from Switzerland that is) speak French as a main language and I am 32 years old. That makes me an old timer around here I guess.
You can find some profile of me here and there, but the one I like the most is the one on entropyzero.
I am a comedian, that means my day-to-day life is around stages and microphones. My main activity those days is the radio on couleur3, the swiss national channel for the youth. I perform there every Sundays in a show called 3615 couleur3. If you speak French, I really think you should listen to it, as I find it funny because i find myself funny.... sometimes.
I also co-host as a substitute the show about video-games pointbarre where I speak about starcraft as much as I can.
Well enough about my life. Let's talk about starcraft.
I am a newb. Well the term do not really fit since I had the game from day one (even before thanks to razor911) but still I am slow and clumsy in game. My APM is 60-80 and I always lose.
Playing public game is frustrating as if a good map is on (by that I mean not hunter/fastest and temple or Luna (good map those 2 but overplayed, you know what I mean)) it probably is filled with better players than me and I end up losing. But its ok, I don't mind losing.
What I really regret are my buddies of battle.net. Those other average/noob players like me who I used to play 2v2 or 3v3 games until the wee hours of the night with. The people that not necessarily played to improve their skills, but just to have fun. And shared my passion for playing a non-mineral map, even a totally unknown map.
It seem this species of player just left b.net... Either they got better and play 1v1 only now with all the other gosus, or they just hang around AFK in a channel since 2003 or they gave up and play only fastest/BGH shit now.
Where are you folks ? Wanna play with me ?
