You might be a little bit confused why it's me and not a certain other user pushing for kpop in this blog, but while i cannot write nearly as well i still can give you guys some opinions on the recent comebacks and try to rank them.
1. Blackpink
Ofc Blackpink would be number one on a list made by me. We waited almost a full year for this comeback and it didn't disappoint (still, Yang Hyun-suk if you are reading this, pls give us two comebacks a year from now on). The title track ddu-du ddu-du was a total "banger", but after over a month of repeated listening i enjoy "really" even more due to its chill vibe, can really listen to that on repeat without any problem. The whole mini is easily recognizable as blackpink style (still no ballad) but at the same time adds new sounds to the repertoire. Them being first i will shamelessly post three of the 4 songs, enjoy (and deal with it)
2. Seungri
BigBang is my favorite male group by quite a margin so i obviously was excited for the solo comeback of seungri (who i definitely undervalued in bigbang compared to the other members, his aura and stage presence is unreal :O). He came back with a full album of 9 songs and while there are songs i definitely wouldn't listen to regulalry, overall this is quite the solid work. Standouts to me are the songs which got mvs, which is why i will showcase them instead of a b-side. (though i would recommend you to check out "alone" and "good luck to you" as well :D
3. Hyolyn
Definitely the summer comeback for me, the song is catchy as hell and does a little more with the tropical theme so often seen in kpop these days. Some nice guitar sounds in the background while also showcasing why hyolyn is definitely one of the best voices in kpop both stylistically and technically. Sadly this comeback only dropped a single so i will add one of her other 2018 releases because there never can be too much of hyolyn.
4. Mamamoo
A group i didn't really notice before the comeback but that definitely changed with this release. The mini album consisting of 6 songs has some great stuff on it, especially the range of different sounds is something i really appreciate. Sadly it also features 2 completely meh songs which doesn't allow them to be higher on my personal list. The MV might be my second favorite summer song, while the b-side just goes pretty hard especially for a girlgroup and i just dig that style.
5. Twice
This is a repackage of an older album with three new songs, JYP is really out there printing money with twice :D Sadly i didn't really love any of the new songs musically, but dance the night away is still a very catchy song with a fun summer vibe and probably the best choreography of recent twice. What makes them appear in this top 5 is me liking them a lot plus the older songs, especially the b-side i am including here.
Forever Young is my personal favourite from the BP comeback but the other songs are good too. DDU-DU DDU-DU I was amazed by the first couple times I listened to it but somehow it got boring fast. Only the rap parts really stick out to me now.

I still enjoy it a lot, the verses in general are strong i think. Overall it is probably my favorite BP song ^^ Any opinion on the other releases?

I actually didn't listen to the EP other than the title (which i didn't really care for too much), will do that soon though and maybe update this list

Yeah let's see, imo it would be
1. Sleep in the car 2. Egotistic 3. Rainy season 4. Midnight summer dream 5. Selfish 6. SKY! SKY!
The last two are imo completely forgettable, though the other 4 are all at least good. So maybe on a more 'objective' ranking this comeback should be rank 3 because hyolyn only released a single, but atm i am still biased towards her hehe :D

Haha i am sorry, this is only my personal opinion and your violin surely isn't the reason for that either :D I just think the song is a little generic overall which doesn't appeal to me, others might think differently. Anyway working on this has to be a nice experience, you should think blogging about it
