I figure I am allowed to post something I made here in the blogs section about TLC map selection. If not, I would like to be informed why. And I would like the brood war moderators to tell me if they think I was out of line in the original thread or not (by PM is fine).

After multiple PvZ finals being decided by Moon Glaive, we realized that the map pack needed to be bought up to date.

Big thanks to CardinalAllin for making us see the light in a humorous way without being confrontational.

We took his ridiculously biased advice and are using a full foreigner map pack because they are the best maps.

Apologies to Draw for making you get so angry and leave with no gg.

Don't anger the mods, they're really mercurial (since they're not one entity).

I thought your original thread was funny. I would love to see some foreigner maps as well in the TLCs.

Maybe you intended it as humorous parody, but I'm not sure what you are parodying. In the context of you asking for foreign maps and that not happening so far, the text comes across more as passive-aggressive mockery than light-hearted fun.

Most of these maps are actually quite awesome designs ^^

Crossgame and Overwatch really enjoyable to play, great maps.

I guess it looked like you were 'impersonating' TL Staff, not that I think there was much realistic chance of there being any confusion except amongst morons.

Atm I would say its safe to say not to play jokes about the TLCs

then im a moron, i rlly fell for it xD Okay i realized it pretty soon, but only a second after hitting the "post" button xD. Other than that, yeah i'd agree, joking and TLC are atm not the best idea, we have had our fair share of drama about that.

Sorry your tread got taken down. If it looks TOO pro, it's easy to confuse with official stuff.

I think all the maps are really cool. Overwatch might be a bit cramped and too hard to get into/out of the main. Maybe try making the bridge as wide as FS's (I see you've copied the main+nat+3rd layout, which works well). Ugh, I'm getting flashback nightmares of playing TvP on Luna ....

Put some rubble or shit in the water in Latin Quarter, it's quite bland otherwise. Maybe a little critter-island or something

Really like Eddy. Especially how the center is rotational, but the sides have a different symmetry.

Also really like Heartbeat. Fun. Like the writing on the walls. And the raised 3rds do a lot in one go, such as fleshing-out the main's wall (so you can't cliff it from outside). Be sure to check tanks can't abuse from the 4th. Maybe make the center cliffs drop-able (like Othello)? Like, no one's gonna use it, but it'd be nice just in case. How are its rush-distances?

Presumably the doodads in the natural of Cross Game are to make it easier to defend Muta-Harass? Don't know how easy it'd be to walk around tho, might have to widen the middle, or take out that little cliff to the bottom-right of the left Min-only.
