I been following your youtube channel for a while but never woulda thought you were a TL fan until I saw this post XD I find most of my music through random stock sites. I recently made some FAQ videos that talks more about this, they are in my channel. And I was on TL way before I even started an Youtube channel

I had a question though - how do you decide how long to work on one drawing? Like for this one here, it looks very good, but I'm sure if you worked twice as long on it, you could smooth out any little imperfections a tiny bit more, etc. If I had the skills of you, I think my desire of perfection would get in the way of being able to complete them quickly. At the same time, it's neat to be able to capture the essence of the moment with the "fewest brushstrokes" or whatever. Just wondering on your take on the time aspect of these and how you choose what works the best for you.

I feel like I remember a video of him drawing with 2 hands... I'm at school or I'd check his channel for it (I suggest you do if you haven't)

Just wondering on your take on the time aspect of these and how you choose what works the best for you. just go with your gut and style. there is no hard rule here. sure I can work on it for hours more and polish every pixel, or I could work on it an hour less and have the flavor of the rough strokes more prominent. (which I think is really one of the top styles of drawing) But since I'm making time-lapsed art videos, and most people likes realistic stuff, I usually make it to about 80% of total realism. It's not overly demanding on time and have enough process in it to make 2min long video interesting to follow. But ye, it's completely subjective and just go with your feelings and what you want to achieve. More realistic isn't always better, or worse, it's just... a particular direction. I mean the tendency, especially for people leaning perfectionist side, to keep work on a drawing is always there. But at some point u have to draw a line and stop. I mean I always see areas and little things that I can work on or improve afterwords but I don't let it bother me so much. Otherwise I would not get a single piece out there.
