How many games have you played? And how many builds have you pioneered? I don't feel any sympathy whatsoever with OP because not only is it obvious you haven't put in any effort, it's also obvious you're lying about the game from top to bottom. For instance, did you really play Protoss? If you did, then I'm totally wrong, and I take back everything I've said so far. On the one hand I wish it were the case, but knowing you and how manipulative Starcraft has made me, I can only assume you are ten times worse. This is what happens when you take a game of logic and push your own rationale on the design team. You want skill. You also want macro to be addressed. No one is going to address macro in an MBS game with mining mechanics. You never say what it is you hate or what it is Blizzard fixed. Was it Colossus range? You have no idea what the developers were thinking, but they have absolutely no reason to short you. Your critiques of Dustin Browder and David Kim aren't warranted at all, at all. Obviously you are the single most important contributor to TL's blog section, and outside of featured I don't think anyone would try to contest that. Unfortunately, on the other hand, your ego is always getting in the way of your good meaning. When you try to enliven discussions by dealing rationally with ideas that excite you, you're in danger of misleading younger players who are still interested in Starcraft. Ultimately the game is important, and how you think it should be played less so. You're trapped in these archetypes I wouldn't express publicly, and the reasoning and logic of my saying so is clear.

Most girls are extremely dexterous by contrast with their male counterparts, but when I played BW against her, her APM was very low (for her level of expertise). What you don't seem to understand is that when a player opts for a variety of builds, the mind games are in the execution. In fact, a single build is much safer. One can address more options. There are many checkmates along the tech tree, and without a doubt the reason you are losing is less to do with your enemy and more to do with general ignorance. How many games have you played? Dustin is obviously still butthurt and his way of settling the score is to artificially inseminate CnC into Starcraft. No one in SC was as compelling as Kane or Stalin from the C&C games.
