I've been meaning to write some faster, heavier songs - obviously there's going to be a bunch on the power metal-laden rock opera, but I want some diversity with my neoclassical stuff too. But at the same time I feel like all of my fast songs are starting to sound the same. So I set out to try and capture a sound completely distinct from my other fast song on this album and the 25-minute epic I've been slowly carving out over the last 3 years. https://soundcloud.com/mikhail-garrievitch-soumar/tsargrad-demo The main theme is a combination of a Russian and a Turkish melody. The final song will be 6-7 minutes, a bit more varied musically, and of course sound balanced. Enjoy
