That's actually exactly what I thought he was saying. However referencing a couple of comparatively small communities bypasses the point. Of course there are (and always will be) communities who will remain passion-driven and get their day in the sun; that doesn't actually address the point that I was making--that esports is becoming more professionalized on the whole and yes, we are transitioning towards a period where people are starting to get involved in it for the money (though that's mainly at the top of the food chain currently, we still have years before it starts trickling down). Obviously there will always be exceptions to a rule (the rule here being esports = money = less passion over time and the exception being smaller communities who will remain fairly unphased by it all), but I'm obviously talking about the general trend.
