Been making progress on a few fronts. I have this massive catalog of notes on loose leaf paper, and probably 12+ essays included, and I'm working on how I'm going to transform it into a book for the marketplace. I'd like to release a best seller on my first go, y'know? Especially since I'm writing non-fiction and it isn't as if I can just keep working on my "creative process" or whatever until I come out with a Harry Potter. Plus, J.K. Rowling writes fiction and her first books were best sellers.. so anyway, writing non-fiction, I don't want to recover the same material in more than one book. Or at least not the same perspective on the particular material that I am qualified to write on.
I've worked out a few outlines for potential drafts, chapter by chapter, after reviewing the noted material that I have. Well, when my money is right I'll be able to really hone in and focus on the presentation. Plus I'll have more credibility for the sort of psychology/self-help angle that I aim my first book to be about.
Well, I'll talk a bit about things I have encounter as I work out the kinks in this fucked up financial system these expert clowns have led our society into with their tomfoolery over the last 100 years of business and legislative history.
1. Many people will fiercely attack you even when you're working on their behalf
2. Many people have the most severe flutterbrains. They simply forget that they lose track of their history of opinions (which they had arrived to based on facts). For example, the same Managers of a Company who led the Company into a terrible situation will still be idolized as heroes as soon as the next news item comes out where those Managers say, "Well we're doing everything right [just like we were before, amirite!?]"
3. Mostly pitiable persons will not contact any of the "remote" players in the game who are viewed as the "power players" unless its to "Betray one of their own". Symptom of not having a ballsack worth a damn.
Hmm moving on.
I found a place to stay via couchsurfing.com. That's a cool site. People post and say we're open, send us a message, and they may let you stay there. Its a good time because its free and you get to meet people who are local and can provide valuable information about the area. This is the first time I've used it, and I know that you'll run into some reaaaal looney tune people who are hosting couchsurfers, but it is a pretty great resource. There were more people on courchsurfing.com in this city than short-term for rent on craigslist.org!
That's all for now.
