SetGuitarsToKill and I have had a mutual respect of each other for the majority of the one year he’s been on TL. As one of the LR crew himself, he watches as I help set a shining example for the masses of people that like to have any excuse to post in tournament threads. As a leading contributor to LR threads (based on his post count), he is commonly found voicing his raw, honest opinion on all of SC2’s current events. Although he is not always correct (and players he becomes a fan of fall off mysteriously…), his attitude towards Starcraft as a whole is one that is extremely passionate.
However, I noticed something recently. SGTK thought of himself as more famous than he was. His vast post count which is totally more spammy that mine had given him a sense of false importance. His constant reference to himself when discussing important matters led to community members making sarcastic remarks about his fame.

I had a conversation with SGTK the other evening over Skype, some time after I offered that we play a friendly match, but he didn’t seem very accommodating that evening, as he insulted pretty much everything I stood for.

Therefore, I challenged SGTK to a anything-might-happen GRUDGE MATCH. It will be a BO9 and we will agree on the races soon™, but he will probably play the boring and totally imbalanced Zerg race against my manly and balanced Random.
The map pool will be:
*If Daedalus Point 1.0 can not be found we will play on Alterzim Stronghold.
SGTK picked the first map and we alternated picks. As you can see, I'm picking the best of all worlds with Quicksand (novelty!), Fastest Map Possible (a classic), Emerald Plaza (one of the best maps right now), and Overgrowth (current ladder map). He just picked a bunch of old rush maps, making it clear what he intends to do. We've played several games against each other and I've always beaten him in longer games, so he thinks he has the advantage on rush-based maps.
The stakes? SetGuitarsToKill has agreed to change his signature to whatever I want after I defeat him. In the unlikely scenario where I somehow lose, I will write a blog insulting myself. Since we didn’t agree on a subject of the blog, it will probably be a battle report of a game where I lost horribly.
The date of this GRUDGE MATCH is undetermined currently but will probably be in a week and a half or so. Some other minor details are being worked out as well.
