[GameDev] Help playtest my first game!

Hey, guys. I finally get off my ass this winter break and finish up my first game, Colooor Match. It's a match three game that actually requires a lot of thinking (a bit too much if you ask me). Since I was learning how to use the game engine, Unity, I kept this project really simple.

This is probably not the most well designed game of all time, but I'm pretty content with it as my first game (which should sucks lol).

Feel free to give me any criticisms. I'm planning to release it on iOS and android as well, so this web version is more or less a beta for it.

It's pretty fun! I played the classic mode but I am not sure if I like the moves-left candycrush format. Usually I prefer a timed trial format. It's hard! And brown looks disgusting, I did everything I can to not make brown.

It looks not bad; how long did it take you to make this game? I considered Unity for my game then finally went for Corona SDK which I really love so far.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! When I have time, I'll definitely add in the timed-trial mode.
I'm not the big fan of the brown either, but that just how the color mixes from my research

I didn't know anything about Unity at all when I started, so it probably took a lot more time than usual. Overall, it took around 3-4 months working on and off. Finding and making acceptable graphic and sound were a pain in the ass for me, so that made me procrastinate a lot, haha.

Takes a while to get fluid, but it's pretty fun!

I would suggest instead of making the left side the current color, have the entire background be the current color, and have the next color be displayed in some other way (ie next piece like in Tetris, or have a small strip on top or bottom).

I think this game would be extremely difficult for me because I am color blind , but it looks awesome.

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking that having the next color take half the screen can be a bit confusing too. I guess I'm trying to emphasize thinking ahead a bit too hard, haha.

I just tweaked the background a bit. I hope it's a bit better now :D

You are not missing much, haha. I promise my next game won't alienate people who are color blind
