"Your weren't put on this earth to simply break even. You're here to break rules, break records and break through."
Fitness Review
This was today's objective:
So today's exercise included the last run of this particular project. I was really determined to beat all my previous records and get at least a average of 6:00 per kilometer. So to start the day I headed out for my run.
Heeding advice from a commenter named "Mysterymeat" I drank plenty of water before heading out so I hopefully wouldn't cramp and it worked.
I really pushed during the first kilometer and completed it in 5:00 which is my fastest kilometer by far. Although is started to get a lot harder as I hit a hill and grew more tired I continued to push. Although my final kilometer was fairly slow it didn't hinder me from hitting my fastest time yet and not even by a little.
I completed the 3km run in exactly 16:00. Per kilometer thats a whole 40 seconds less than my previous best when I was running at a good form. If I use my last run as a comparison I completed it a whole 4 minutes faster. As you may guess I am over the moon by this result, I never would have thought I would have gotten my time down so much by the end of this program.
Unfortunately the run injured my "pelvic area" and I use quotes for a reason. Basically whenever I move I feel like I am being stabbed in the balls. I don't know how it happened, but as a result I was unable to complete the other exercises for the day.
A sad ending but I am really proud of my result. Just one day to go now!
The Days Diet
I am currently not on a diet but will be starting on one soon. This area will go over the days food intake and will include recipes so everyone can start eating better at home!
Starcraft 2 and Stream Review
These were today's objectives:
1. Improve the 3 queen roach style in ZvZ.
2. Improve scouting in ZvP, in terms of overlord spread and lings to find pylons.
3. Add static defense is ZvP late game to prevent harass.
4. Learn how to defend hellbat pushes and early marine pushes.
No stream again due to Dreamhack which was probably a good thing. I only played four games, I had time to play more but after losing four in a row I didn't see the point playing on as I was clearly tilting.
Whats worse was over the previous days I had been crushing top diamonds in macro games with ease and today I got crushed by low diamonds. What I have always hated most about this game is how I can go from playing the best Starcraft of my life to playing my worst.
I lost in scenarios I simply just don't lose in. I lost my first game simply due to messing up and dying to a protoss 2 base all in.
I also lost two ZvT's both macro games. In each game I started with a lead and just threw it away. Game 1 I lost due to taking a bad engagement mostly due to my opponent inclusion of hellbats which makes taking a cost efficient fight almost impossible. I don't even know how I lost my second game.
I won't really be looking to much into these games as I feel they are really uncharacteristic of my current form. I will be slightly adjusting my goals and changing some of my builds going into the final day to reflect changes in the meta.
Game Summary and Points of Improvement
Vs Protoss (0-1)
- Add static defense when maxed to aide with harass defense.
- Use lings to prevent proxy pylons.
- Improve overlord spread to see pylons/pushes.
- Finishing sorting out my builds to reflect what tech I scout.
Vs Terran(0-2)
- Adapt ZvT build to deviate at 6:30 if two base aggression is scouted.
Vs Zerg (0-1)
- Continue to work on the three queen roach build.
- Improve unit rallying (make sure they go straight into hot keys)
Stream Summary
No stream due to dreamhack being on.
