[Day 3] Road to fitness and gaming success

Hello everyone back for day 3!!! I am currently experimenting with the format of the blog please let me know if you think I should take away or add something thanks!

This was today's objective;

With nothing major scheduled on Friday I woke up fairly late. My legs ached but not as bad as they did the day before.

I decided on the level 2 option and decided to complete three sets before I had a shower then two more after. I ended up skipping breakfast, which i'm really trying not to do luckily the exercises were not as intensive as the day before.

Despite my initial concerns about the state of my quadriceps I had no major problems completing the sets of squats. The planks jumps proved the most tiring however I was easily able to complete all 15 each time without a problem and despite the renegade rows putting a lot of pressure on my arms, I was able to complete each set without stopping.

I ended up having to do some shopping which became the Cardio part of the day, I ended up walking for about 5 miles. Half of it carrying quite a bit of weight turning the walk into a whole body exercise! Unfortunately the cargo was 16 cans of full fat coke, mad deals at the local supermarket, but i'm not on a diet yet so ill enjoy it while it lasts!

So overall a more positive day than Thursday, looking ahead its about to get a whole lot tougher!!

After a positive day I looked forward to streaming and playing Sc2. I played for about two hours. I went into the game with clear goal's in sight. Which were to improve on the mistakes made the day before which included mechanics and scouting. I ended the day with a 6-1 score, my only loss to a zerg who hard countered my 10 pool with a 14/14.

Due to further technical problems I wasn't able to stream hearthstone again but instead I played a few games in my own time. I played my anti meta mage deck ending with a score of 3-2 with both losses being really close with only 1-2 damage in it.

After numerous phone calls I finally found out the reason for the internet problems. Without telling us our internet provider had begun capping upload speeds after 1-2 hours of use per day, this is why I would start to drop frames after about two hours as the speed would be capped to 500kbps. As a result until my internet upgrade goes through I will not be streaming very much. I will however keep up with the practice and reports.

Side Note: To those of you who are with British internet firms make sure you know what you are paying for, I am upgrading from 30mb to 100mb with a minimum upload speed of 2000 kbps and after that the monthly bill will be smaller than before....

I am also away on Saturday as a result there will be no Starcraft 2 practice, however I will continue on with Day 4 of the physical training and play a lot of hearthstone. The blog will be up normal time.

I have decided upon a program which aims to provide a starting point for getting into shape, I want to improve my general fitness. The idea of a marathon is just a goal for me to work towards.
