Why would I? There's 7 billion people on this planet, and we get news from all over the world nowadays. It's just a matter of probability that there's some twisted, sick fuck out there doing something like that. News like this are why my grandmother thinks that behind every bush there's a sex offender. | ||

i dont think it's fair to think is just about something terrible that happened - i think they try to really look at a lot of different things and it challenged the way i initially thought about things. i thought the article does a good job in trying to fairly portray everyone involved. | ||

Instead, these isolated sick crimes are reported more for hits from bored voyeurs/shock seekers than anyone else. Sick, unusual crimes get way more coverage than stories about the socially relevant issues you list. You claim you want to be 'informed' and yet fixate on the more shocking stuff that interests you. If only more mundane suffering had the same allure. | ||
