Galvanized steel isn't bad, but wasn't all that copper pretty expensive?
(I guess it would be nothing compared to the value of the work it takes to make something like that, but still)

I bought 100 meters of electrical wire which I then had to strip myself. Cost about 30€ so not too bad (and still got a good some left)

As far as texture feeling and temperature goes I don't think so. Main concern is whether my leg hairs will get stuck/ripped out and/or whether it'll wreck my washing machine.
