This is DotA.

I randomed bristleback and planned to solo offlane. This game was looking pretty good since we had a potm + sd duo to gank and a morph + luna carry. However I think I may have gotten my hopes up because shortly after I got a triple kill bottom our potm + sd dc'd and wound up tanking abandons. However they did come back much later to finish the game.



I'll strike this down as unwinnable considering 2 people DC'd for well over 5 minutes and I was also griefed. By who? Luna. Why? I'm really not sure, he was mad he was 1-7-1 or something, I really hadn't even said anything all game either. I guess he just saw my items and took them for easy pray.

This game actually started out looking really good. Too good.

I could tell immediately that I was in for another unwinnable game, however I still retained hope and picked furion because I was slightly frustrated from last game. Our lineup was PL + OD + timbersaw + furion and the only one left to pick was nX. He picked sniper. But hey! I retained hope and figured maybe it was some next level support sniper strategy!

I randomed LC and played it for the first time. I sucked and got carried. Nothing special.

I randomed PA and our magnus seemed friendly from the start. SW and rubick also seemed like decent people and our tri-lane went really well ruining that dirty phoenix pickers game. He died first blood and several times after that really early on. That didn't stop him from being a moron though!



It's really weird how people like this rationalize the shit that they do.......



I'm going to change the "unwinnable" category to "griefed" so that I can include games where the other team has to put up with this kind of shit as well.



Score screen. I'm on a different account that's actually my lowest MMR. Hilariously enough, games on this account are a lot more difficult than on my 5k/5.6k/ and 5.9k solo Q accounts. Most of them as I've noticed end up with some level of "game ruining" or "griefing".

I randomed DP which is generally a pretty good hero to win DotA with. We also had the next 3 people random mirana, PL, and dazzle which is pretty good despite the other team being a bunch of counter picking nerds. Then the last guy on our team picked broodmother after the other team had SK, BH, and a tri lane. I had my doubts but he seemed confident.



Oh well I guess, 0-1 starting out today.

Alright, time to shake off last game! I randomed meepo which I promptly repicked since immediately after I did that someone picked void and declared that he was farming bottom. Lich seemed like a good hero this game. After our picks end we have a pretty good lineup. What could go wrong?



Oh, I guess our team dual laning middle against an SF could happen, thus leaving our void solo against a PoTM (not fun).



After some time being called 'gay' struck a cord with CM so he decided to no longer dual lane mid. At least there's NO way our tinker can lose mid now considering he got babysat for over 3 minutes, right?



Worst case scenario is occurring again. Right after CM leaves Tinker starts his downward spiral of feeding to the SF..



Oh god, why?

Alright.



The enemy ogre has been flaming in all chat all game, meanwhile brown and gray have been asking the other team to "end mid" for a while now as well.



It wouldn't be DotA if someone didn't have their items stolen.



It wouldn't be DotA if someone didn't abandon.



DotA is a shitty game for not having a scenario where both teams lose.

I randomed Centaur to start. My team really shit the bed (they picked all of their heroes) and we almost didn't have a courier. We ended up with an ember jungling, sniper + DP bottom, and invoker middle. Things are we going decently at the start and I was pretty excited to win a game!



I don't wanna talk about it.

I random Tiny and tell the team that I'll farm bottom. We end up in a tri-lane vs tri-lane scenario with Ogre + PoTM in which we get first blood and things are looking good. Too good.



Rather than just continue to win bottom, they smoke directly in front of an observer, what happens next?



They don't really get any wortwhile kills and trade negatively because the top lane ursa went middle and dropped the hammer. Meanwhile, it's been 6 minutes since I've had any help against a tri-lane and they take the tower and dive me twice. The PoTM spam pings me and the tower and uses the >Well Played! text.



I am no longer the carry. Ogre and PoTM are now the carries and I should refrain from hitting creeps so that PoTM and Ogre can farm.



Nice.



That's that I suppose.

I random Beastmaster and go solo offlane. Some guy with #SADBOYS in his name picks SF. I am worried already.



Sad indeed.



On a related note: SF and TB both flamed me for losing them this game. If you're out there reading this guys, I'm SO sorry!!!

I random Batrider and go to the jungle.



I get a 7 minute blink dagger. However I'm not level 6 since CM thought it would make sense to share the experience that I was getting from my stacks. Socialism sucks.



I ask CM to stop using Nova on creep waves so I can farm my force staff.



I ask her again. To no avail.

Just for the record here: you'll get a MUCH faster midas, like up to 2 minutes faster, if you just start with a qb + stout and a stack of tangos. Especially when you have CM aura to cast scorched earth on CD. I don't think this doom even used scorched earth that often.

I randomed DK and was pretty happy. I really enjoy DK. Despite someone already having picked Storm to go middle with, I wasn't worried, I could just go farm bottom. Right?

I randomed AA. I like AA and was planning on going mid against SF. It's a pretty easy lane with chilling touch!
