Or Anyone for that matter who can help me out. I mentioned before in a previous blog post that I had developed a rivalry with this guy named g3no1cid3_. I play Zerg and he plays Terran. Apparently he took a 1 month break and thinks he's C rank on the iCCup server. Right now I'm floating in between D+/C-.
I call upon someone to help me fix my loose ends. I usually have trouble going against drops and somehow genocide always manages to land a dropship somewhere and then I just lose tech structures, workers, and it becomes such a hassle to bring some units to deal with the cleanup. Sometimes he goes double dropship and wipes out 2 bases in 1 sweep. It's so annoying.
Sometimes he'll go a decent number of Firebats negating whatever defensive capabilities 1 Defiler and 2 Lurkers with Dark Swarm. He'll do stuff like move his whole army to some other base of mine and again 1 Defiler, maybe 2 lurkers isn't enough to hold it off until the rest of my army gets there. He just ends up wasting my bases albeit with a destroyed army.
I really need to get better at using my Nydus Canals, but all the time I feel like they do little for me. Also, mass marine medic is overpowered, absolutely impossible to win. Any tips regarding the use of Nydus Canals would be appreciated. I know so far you should have one ready right as a far away hatchery pops and it's pretty much essential to ferry units back and forth.
Tactics wise I have no tactics and all I'm doing so far includes having 1 big army attack another big army which is pre-Savior era Zerg play. I know my faults include not planning ahead so I'll have 500 mins and I don't have that 3rd expansion like I'm supposed to, that much I understand. Sometimes my macro does fall off, and consistency is not my strong point.
In terms of Muta micro I think it either got super bad over time or maybe Terran players in the D rank ladder were just really bad at defending Mutas. Tips for Mutas would be appreciated as well. I feel like going Muta focused builds like 2 hatch Muta just to train my micro would help. I've been trying to do the hold position thing but i just find myself not shooting glaive wurms.
G3nocide has plenty of mistakes that he does as well. Not sure to call them mistakes but some things he always does is make a bunker in response to a 9 pool every time, and he always makes a bunker at his natural which isn't unusual, just unnecessary sometimes. It is with this message I need to ask for some help and outrun this guy since I'm getting my butt whooped to simple things I should be able to handle more heftily.

The bottom most replay shows a really late game ZvP where resources are getting dry. In these scenarios I always start to panic since I have to somehow be cost effective which the zerg is more than capable of doing, it's just all in the unit control. Any advice would be appreciated. If I should post this in a different section, please let me know. As for me, it's time to watch some Jaedong vs. Flash VODS.

do you keep 2-3 pairs of scourge around the edges of the map or common drop routes, with overlords around the terrans base?
drops are devastating if they are effective

Although I didn't watch the replay, I'll get around to it, but just some helpful tips, that I'm hoping is just to remind you of certain bullet points...
- Try not to get too caught up in the game. What I mean by this is "think" as you're playing, not just try and attack random places and hope for the best. Try to deduce how much money the guy has, how big his army is, what he could do to be more effective in certain situations. That way, you can go for more effective moves, like attacking an expansion instead of an army when you realize he's starting to get desperate for an expo and has no money, or simply defending expansions from harassment, because securing a couple of bases will be enough to win you the game.
- Although watching Jaedong vs Flash VODs would be great, honestly, you won't be gaining much from watching two pros play versus playing yourself against a rather low-ranked player. I don't mean to bash you or "Genocide", but D-C players play much differently than pros. Pros will, more often than not, both go for more macro orientated builds, such as 14cc / 3hatch before pool. Usually, D-C players, when they see a 14cc, our first reaction isn't "Oh, I should catch up in terms of economy", but rather, it'd be "Oh, great, he has no units, time to go for the kill". Of course, if you win, you win. But Jaedong going 3hatch before pool and Flash going 14cc won't help you if you go 3hatch before pool and "Genocide" decides to just go for an all-in bunker rush.
- Try to be a scumbag bastard as Zerg. Always keep around a defiler, 2-3 Lurkers, and spores/sunkens at each of your bases/ramps. That way, even when your Defiler gets irradiated, just throw down a Swarm on top of the Lurkers and stall for time and/or force the Terran to go away from attacking the expos. Although, throwing down a Plague on a Vessel cloud with spores would be super effective as well, as spores would basically be killing of the Vessels rather quickly.
Other than that, I think it's just a matter of simply getting better with mechanics, like you've pointed out, and just getting used to playing as if it was second nature. And then there's different variances that makes certain players better than the other, such as timing knowledge, build knowledge, recognizing situations, multitasking, etc., but that should more or less, come through playing. If you need help, feel free to message me on iCCup at RedAxis or on USEast at Apex(J). Or PM me, and as a Terran player, I'd be more than willing to play a couple of games with you.

I watched a live game of you versus him. His macro falls off a cliff after 10 minutes, so even if your macro sucks, just make two evo chambers, stay alive past his first attack and then just start making ultralisks and zerglings.
But is it really that simple? Yes and no.
Yes because if you play someone enough times, and they always play the same no matter what, then you'll start to notice holes in their game play, especially if you watch them play against people who are better than them.
No because you can't go on auto-pilot and have tunnel vision. You can't just get to a point where you say "Well, I'm making ultralisks" and not have something that comes after that. You have to get an advantage to win, not just hope he screws up. Also, sometimes if you play against someone enough times, they will stop doing their standard play and start messing with you because they've noticed some holes in your play. This means that they might not play their standard strategy, even if they do it for absolutely everyone else, every time, so you can't get lazy and just make an assumption about what your opponent is going to do, even if you know them very well.

Well, the first game I watched, you went 2-hatch lurker drop. The problem in this game was that you had no way to prevent Genocide from backstabbing your natural and killing your base. Even still, you somehow stabilized the situation despite losing your main, but kept attacking with 1 lurker at a time. Even against tiny groups of marines, 1 lurker can easily be killed, and with 3 command centers, he was able to easily regenerate all the SCVs that he lost and got back into the game.
Second game, you just got killed by some one-base play and went 3 hatch mutalisk on US East, so I dunno if you had lan lat on, but yeah.
