So what do they do now? They brought back the same old free plastic thin bags that were proven to be no more polluting than the new ones. For a while I was taking pics of these thicker 10c bags littered and trashed all over the place, but it was just dozens and dozens of pics and I just foldered them somewhere and stopped. Anyways, covid all the sudden supercedes the impending doom of pollution and global warming caused by bags. PS - I think germany is also banning all plastic single use crap and getting rid of all their coal and outsourcing their energy from russia so they can look green. | ||

The best part about this is they still charge customers for the paper bags. And not only that, but because paper bags suck, you might need to double or triple up so they dont rip, you end up paying even more. Now if thats not enough, every single other thing in the store is covered in plastic bags, and you still get the og plastic sacks at liquor stores and restaraunts (free). You can go to a place like Rest. Depot (similar to costco ) and buy a box of thank you/tshirt sacks a few hundred at a time for maybe 0.03 cents a piece | ||
