Somehow, I don't think I'm gonna be as successful as Will Smith with that line. Just doesn't roll off the tongue.
In any case, back in Feb, my relationship with my partner took a serious downer, and I ended up moving out unexpectedly fast. Like....I had half an hour to pack a bag and leave. I don't really want to get into massive detail, but suffice to say that I didn't have stable internet for a couple of months until I moved into the new place. I also had to deal with a lot of emotional stuff that I had to deal with. Subsequent to that, I went through a tough phase at work, with restructuring and threats of redundancies. All in all, not a great time to be blogging. Or most things, in fact. I lost a lot of time on the clan stuff I was doing, which didn't help. I withdrew from a lot of things and lost contact with some people. My blog died, as you may have noticed, and I started getting angry about a lot of stuff.
I'm not gonna deny it, I was handling my anger very badly, and that's something I've been working on recently. My anger at my ex rather got on top of me and I spent a long time hating. Sometimes her, sometimes just everything. Thankfully I've managed to work that through and I don't have those flashes of hate so often. I'm not gonna lie and say I'm fine. But I'm recovering.
So why am I putting this up?
Honestly, it's because I want to start blogging again, and sharing my journey through the levels of esports and hopefully to a point where I can make it more a part of my life than it is now. That means I need to write, and one of the first things that came to mind was "Where the hell have I been all this time?" I figured someone was going to ask, and it's as good a subject to start with as any, so here it is.
The intention is, from this point, to write at least one blog entry a week, but in practice, I'm gonna blog about a wide range of things, possibly one entry a day, depending on how I'm feeling about stuff, and whether anything comment worthy happens.
That said, for now, I'm going to bed. Turns out it's late, and I have a D&D game to run tomorrow.
Thanks for reading and watch this space....
