I'm writing this down now cus I know I'll forget about it if I go back to sleep. It's just how these things work for me.
I had the weirdest fucking dream. I was asleep for thirty minutes, and by the time I woke up I was feeling sick, ready to throw up, sweating like a pig, and my heart was racing. I don't have a fever, so I have no idea why this particular dream felt so lifelike, but it freaked me out.
I was at the cabin with my dad, where we have this ring you tie up to the boat, sit on, and get dragged around. It's quite windy where we have a cabin, so it's not unusual for the ring to bump on a wave, fly up to about 5 meters above sea level, and slowly go down again. Unless you fall off, in which case it'll just flap around wildly till the boat stops moving. It's terrifying, but also pretty fun. You'll feel like shit if you fall off though.
Anyway, in this dream the tube seemed to also defy gravity, and for some reason the rope attached to it was 50 fucking meters long. I suddenly found myself all the way up there. It wasn't an issue at first, the ind kept me up and I started slowly drifting down. Then, it suddenly went silent, and I started plummeting right down. I don't know how many of you are familiar with the whole concept of free falling. You've probably missed the last step of your stairs and felt like you were going to die, fallen backwards without knowing how far it was, and it kinda stops your heart for a moment, before the rush hits. It feels good. The idea that you're about t ohit the water after falling 50 meters is terrifying though.
The second I hit the water I got shifted. I don't know what else to call it. I was no longer in my body. I don't know what I could call it. I could still touch, feel, I had to move to stay above water. I could see the boat, my dad going down after my body, so I followed. I don't know what, I was thinking, if anything at all. The weirdest thing was looking at myself from above. A non-breathing, bleeding me, when we'd gotten to land. That shit freaked me out.
Whn I woke up I didn't even feel like I'd slept. This is where I felt like throwing up, I was sweating, heart was beating. It took me a while to realize that I'd been asleep for half an hour.
EDIT: I don't think this means anything, I just think it was fucking weird. I don't usually remember my dreams, this is an exception.

I ate a muffin last week, and then I dreamed that I ate a SECOND muffin. But you see I thought I had eaten the second muffin, but I didn't, it was just a dream. And then this week I DID eat another muffin, of the exact same type! So the dream was, like, a premonition or something. Or a self fulfilling prophecy? All I know was that the muffin was good.

Maaaybe, but I rarely remember my dreams, this is the exception rather than the rule.

If that's your weirdest dream, your dreams must be pretty tame. At least half my dreams are more bizarre than that. You did a much better job at explaining your dream than I ever could though; when I try, everyone ends up completely confused, including me.

I vaguely remember dreams about massive trolls (The ones from Norwegian folklore) chasing em through the forest that I had as a kid. These days I'm lucky if I even remember having a dream. I guess this might be a pretty lame dream, but it's the whole it feeling so real thing that made it weird. Especially with the whole "looking down on your own dead body" thing. That shit looked real.

My last dream I crawled under my moms bed and found a bunch of vibrators and was like score! Then I woke up and checked but there wasn't any there

I didn't say your dream was lame, I said it was tame, as in no murderous vegetables in a bowling alley in an opium den, while climbing a coca-cola water slide, all seen from some sort of dysfunctional multiple third person perspectives, like a poorly coordinated movie director had prepared it, with fake wakeups and mild sleep paralysis IRL thrown in. Yes, that's how my dreams are.

My dreams aren't really that weird, they just aren't coherent at all.
I'll be doing something with a group of people, and then with no noticeable transition, I'll be in a completely different situation, doing something completely different, with different people, once as a completely different gender.

My favorite story to tell about my dreams is always the time I had "dream-ception". At my permanent home, in my room, when you walk into the room, my bed is in the far left corner (furthest away from the door). In my apartment in college, my room happened to be set up the same way. Needless to say I became very familiar with waking up and looking to the left to see my door.
One night I had a seemingly tame dream where I was in class, talking to some friends, and then I woke up to the sound of someone outside my room. I sat up, in the usual spot of the room, and looked out left to the doorway when a friend walked into my room. She sat on my bed and we chatted for a bit. Soon, she had to leave, and gave me a parting hug with both of us sitting on the bed. As she reached in, I realized that my bed was much bigger than usual.. The blanket was also much larger.. In fact, I wasn't even in my room! I was fooled by the simple fact that I was use to being in that corner of the room with the door in the opposite corner. A dream within a dream! I woke up soon after, in my usual spot. I sat up and looked to my left at the door thinking how strange it was to be woken up from a dream within a dream. It was like the architect knew how I slept and placed the bed and door in a position such that I would be convinced it was reality. I got out of bed and walked outside my room into...a forest. Instantly something felt off. I woke up. A dream within a dream within a dream.
I definitely took a long shower that morning.
