So first of all I am sorry for the weird last blog entry but it really helped me to get my confidence back and step my captaining/play up.
For some reason I completely lost my confidence at the start of the last week which caused me to play very badly and not make any calls at all anymore. That way the team started losing a lot and things got worse and worse. So what I did in the last blog was just writing down my plain thoughts without structuring them at all.
Doing that I found out what I really wanted to archieve and what I thought would help me getting my confidence back. In the end I did not play carry and I was not selfish at all, but for some reason it still gave me my confidence back ^.^
Ten minutes later
So the original title was "Improvement!". After I thought about this though I realised that we actually did not improve at all.
In my opinion I improved a lot as a player, which really shows in pub as I just stomp the hell out of every living being (Which does not mean I got problems against Undying!), but our team play has been on the same level since the end of Starladder.
So what can we do? Wait for the next season of Starladder?!
I feel like we got to a point where pure improvement of single player skill is not enough anymore and improvement of strategy is very much needed.
I am really not sure if this is the right choice or not. Everytime I talk to the team it seems like they (Chippy) are against strategizing and just want to keep practicing pure mechanics and basic movement etc. So basically very general stuff.
So maybe I am even asking for advice here:
Do you think it is necessary to practice certain strategies etc. or this something you should start doing when you hit pro level?
I cannot find an answer to that so maybe some of you can help me.
Questions? Ask me!
NoLuck out!
Edit: Btw. I always hated Loda..After his interviews today I can't hate him anymore..For some reason he's nice when he's actually speaking.
