looking for critic to improve.

each hero having a specific elemental tie happened completely on accident and pretty much has zero mechanic role in game play but it adds depth and structure to the story/lore character development I think.

I can't critic on these since I'm no where your level. The only thing I can say is holyshit these are so fucking good @@. Your style of art is quite special, back when I first saw the liquidblue ( is that his name? ,cant rmb )

how is flavor text important if it serves no purpose?
but the blog content is amazing and it changed my life for real.

The artwork and design is looking rather good. I am rather critical in general, so if you find my rambling nonsense a bit much, feel free to ignore it. For the first drawing in the work in progress, the fire demon's face seems to be awkwardly facing in a direction slightly away from his victim. It is probably confusion I am getting from whether the victim is in the foreground or the background. I am not a skilled artist by any means, I just feel that a small change could make it more cohesive. And for the second WIP picture, I think the person on the floor's forehead is a little too bright compared is all the darkness around him. The rest of the images are just sick, I especially like the 3rd WIP and the pirate. Awesome artwork.

As for flavor text, I don't think it is totally necessary, but I get a chuckle from it here and there when I play MTG.

yea liquid'blue. Im trying to work him in to the minion card line up. He needs some updating tho.

Im open to any suggestions on font substitutes.

flavor serves a purpose ( atmosphere ) but its not game play dependent.
