The thing with StarCraft is I can end a game 14 minutes in, but the game ends up going to 30 minutes because I don't do this or that. At the same time I've defeated a Terran, albeit, he did seem off that game, but really, I was just zoom zoom a zooming my way through. The Defiler. Decisive, and as big as its bite. Sometimes I feel as though I depend on the Defiler too much, or that my zergling Ultra just isn't enough for the tough cookie Terrans. Should I go back to my Hydra/Lurk play? It's all simple. I plant down those 2 evo chambers after my great 3 Hatch Muta harass that gets me ahead. I go a healthy mix of Lurkers and Hydras planning on taking down the 1st push. After I take down the first push, I expand some more, get some more Hydra/lurk, get my superior upgrades, and if I'm really ahead, I go Queens with ensnare. Usually I transition from my 2/2 hydra ups and transition into 3/1 melee attack ups with the Ultralisk Armada ready to take the stead and bulldoze the remaining Marines as they are overwhelmed by the simple brutality and viciousness that is the swarm. Beware. Works evvveryyy time. Also an easy way to spend money with this build. However, I figure mixing it up with not just 3 hatch muta every game is the way to go. I shall play it risky, but not too risky. I'll do it the Zerg way, with utter, and total domination, or complete humiliation. There is no middle ground when it comes to facing the Protoss and the Terran. As for the Zerg...it is a tough race indeed. C- and beyond! Also, just learned recently you can move and attack select a target if you want Mutas to attack faster. No wonder my Muta micro didn't look Jaedong esque. It's surprisingly easier to defeat Marines and medics using attack select.
I've been busy lately with school and just working in general. It's been a rather pleasant evening. Writing this post really got my external energies to be emanated forth and to cool down my adrenaline charges. I guess I'll bee seeing you around.
