Something terrible happened. We ACTUALLY lost a game! :o
Starladder? Might be over..
So what happened?
Beana had some kind of uni party whatever thing and we therefore needed a standin.
The problem was that we did not know this beforehand so we got some random guy standing in for us which fucked the tri-lane up completely.
In addition to that we got outdrafted which I still feel very sorry for.
It was not really horribly outdrafted but they had 3 carries which made then able to outcarry us eventually.
Because I picked a Void to "counter" it and stacked team fight with Magnus and Dark Seer we only had a very small time window to use the advantage of our line up which we failed to do.
I also failed as a captain and did not direct the game as well as I normally do and also made a lot of wrong decisions.
And if only that was not enough I also showed poor single performance and got caught out of position quite often.
We came to the conclusion that we could have won easily if we had shown our normal play.
But hey..We didn't and so we have to live with the consequences right?
1 win, 1 loss, one match not yet played.
You might wonder what the problem is now.
I mean..With this result we should be through right?
Weeeell..
The team that did not show up just reported the game as a win for them and the genius of a Starladder referee manages to ignore every single bit of the questions and requests "foreign" (and by that I mean non Russian speaking teams) which makes me believe that we will get a loss for a game we should get a default win for.
So yeah. In the end we do not know if we will get to the next group stage or not which makes it really hard to plan for the future.
If we are out we want to participate in other tournaments because we played very very well in Starladder.
We also found a scrimming partner and we are looking forward to playing against them a lot in the future.
Well, this is it for now I guess.
No practice today because Beana is still tired etc.
Sorry for this weird blog but as you can imagine I am not really happy with the situation and writing about it does not make me feel better.
Let's hope everything goes well so I can deliver some good messages in the future again.
