I'm sure this is not worthy of any other section so I have it in blogs.
Long story short. I wanted to delete my league of legends account due to the extreme toxic nature of the player base. I have no friends or family that play the game. I submitted a ticket to do so. It's still active and playable, but pending deletion.
Of course the day I submit the ticket I find out 4-5 guys from work play the game and invited me to play with them. This would bypass all the random toxic players. So I want to keep my account. But Riot did not respond yet to my ticket.
My question is if there is anyone here that works for Riot support or knows someone who does that can respond to my ticket. I learned my lesson that I should have just let the account sit unused instead of getting mad and trying to delete it. It's lvl 26 in case that matters. I dont really want to start all over again.

If there is anyone that can help me save my account before the deletion process finalizes, it would really mean a lot to me. I never even tought to check TL for a player base here

You might be better off posting on r/leagueoflegends or the actual LoL forums. TL has a big LoL playerbase but I think it's unlikely anyone with the power to grant your request will be seeing this.

Why delete it in the first place? If your never going to use it whats the problem with it just sitting there idle. At most a level 30 account could make you a few $$ if you want to ebay it or something (Not that you would do that illegal thing ^_^)

Good luck in getting the deletion cancelled.

Riot Cservice is pretty good, It might take them a little while, but they'll fix you up if you stick by it.

I believe there are a few users on TL who have connections in riot.

Thanks to all who have responded. I have already posted in the forums there. But the help threads there get 0 responses. I guess it's just a waiting game now to see if they will respond and stop the cancellation process.
The only response I got on the LoL forums was the following, which does not instill much hope.
"Good to see you learnt your lesson. No reason to have your account deleted
In any case, simply update the original ticket stating you'd like to stop the process and they should stop it.
You may get unlucky though and the account may get deleted between now and when they see the update on the ticket, so I suggest some hope. O.O

If you don't use an account, you ought to delete it. One less login/pw combination for someone to steal from you, and one less account you have to worry about if your security is compromised.

If you don't use the same passwords for more things than one (you shouldn't) there's no reason not to let it sit unused instead of deleting.

I would delete my LoL account if I ever wanted to stop playing for good too. Riot has a phone number though.

Just reply to your own support ticket and it should be fine. Afaik Riot don't really delete accounts in the first place (normally they just lock them).
